Good food

The restaurant is almost full whilst 80% of the others are closed this time of the season. The reason why it is full is tourists are still here. Honest prices and very good food.

I had waited come to Konoba Istriana, traditional cuisine restaurant for Easter lunch. Tried a couple of others that were also very nice, but nothing like this one. We had the traditional Istria beans soup and fish soup for appetizers and the famous seafood casserole as entree. We tried the Carob cake Albumin cheese for desserts. We had the house... More

if you're in the area.. you _must_ visit the konoba istriana! they cook perfectly - typically croatian cuisine.. don't expect pizza or pasta frutti di mare or the usual stuff.. and don't miss out on the starters, especially the truffel cheese is the most amazing thing i've ever tasted.. portion size is kinda big so its a good plan to... Very popular place even in low season. If you choose Istrian Soup here, you will discover new level of test, moreover it could be considered as a main course due to very substantial consistence. Next to the restaurant there is small playground for kids with seesaw.

We went to Konoba Istriana twice during our holiday and both times we were very pleased with the food. The fish and squid were fresh and grilled perfectly. Service was good. If you are not a fan of garlic ask for the sauce to be put separately as it's on everything.

We went to this place because of the high ratings on tripadvisor. Once again I was dissapointed. The ambient is bad, ugly. Service was not the best either but was OK. Food wasnt bad. We ate gnocchi with game and was very good. Stuffed Calamari in sauce, wasnt bad also but the calamari could have been cooked a bit more.... More

It is one of the places we visit quite often in Pula. This time we were there with friends, had not real idea what to eat, and chef Milan proposed us a mixed sea food plate: sea squad and prawns on grill, with blitva. His wife Amalija is a real chef in the kitchen -:). Fresh and excellent, never a... More

We had dinner here many times over the years. The first night our vacations we decided to visit our preferred restaurant. The good was good as ever but the check was quite a surprise...almost as a dinner in Milan (where we live!).
