On suggestion of our host we went here to try 3 meals! We are so satisfied that we are writting this comment while we are still here because it is one of the best meals ever. We tried domestic ravioli filled with gamberi and schrimp it is first recommendation. We orderd domestic domestic njoki with boskarin (it is local beef)... More

We went to this place because of the high ratings on tripadvisor. Once again I was dissapointed. The ambient is bad, ugly. Service was not the best either but was OK. Food wasnt bad. We ate gnocchi with game and was very good. Stuffed Calamari in sauce, wasnt bad also but the calamari could have been cooked a bit more.... More

It is one of the places we visit quite often in Pula. This time we were there with friends, had not real idea what to eat, and chef Milan proposed us a mixed sea food plate: sea squad and prawns on grill, with blitva. His wife Amalija is a real chef in the kitchen -:). Fresh and excellent, never a... More

We had dinner here many times over the years. The first night our vacations we decided to visit our preferred restaurant. The good was good as ever but the check was quite a surprise...almost as a dinner in Milan (where we live!).

This was our first visit to Croatia and our first konoba. Having chosen this place based on excellent TA reviews, expectations were high. We decided to drive there for lunch on one of our first holiday days. Although open, the place was deserted, so being the only customers we expected attentive service as well as good food. Unfortunately neither lived... More

I'm tempted to say that I've never encountered this good service before, but after a week in Istria the bar is set really high. Still, this was a lovely experience, and anyone in the area should absolutely pay Konoba Istriana a visit. We called beforehand to reserve a table and mentioned that we were planning to walk from nearby Vinkuran... More

We had a see food plate in a wine sauce (a dish from a main picture) and now I can say I actually love see food. It was fresh and fantastic cooked. The owner and the waiter were very helpful and experienced. They really cared that we are happy with the food and that the side dishes we ordered went... More

My husband and I each ordered grilled seafood dishes: squid and sea bass. Both came out cooked to perfection, just wonderful. It was one of those meals where you find yourself making "yummy noises" as you eat, if you know what I mean. I also have to mention the side dishes of sautéed spinach--Spinach of the Gods, if you ask... More

We're visiting this place for a years. During our last three days stay on the south of Istria my wife and me have spent almost half a time in this warm place where you can feel perfect mixture of excellent fresh sea food, very drinkable domestic wine and mainly due to the special atmosphere made by hosts Mrs. Amalija and...
