Great octopus dish for a very affordable price!

I've been coming to Premantura for a summer vacation for three years in a row and I always come back to this place! Cosy atmosphere, friendly staff and a large variety of dishes. I would highly recommend octopus baked "ispod peke", however, you have to order it in advance, since it needs a bit more... read more

Konoba Istriana was our first restaurant experience in Croatia, and we were not disappointed. We went there for lunch following a morning in Pula. It took a bit of driving to get there, since it is outside Pula in the countryside - but it was worth the effort. We ordered octopus salads, and two very large seafood platters for the... More

We ate pasta with mixed fish and it was more a soup than pasta. I really think they could do it better, especially because there name is konoba Istriana and it does not have to do anything with how istrian pepole eat at home.

Went to Konoba Istriana again, of course had to try the truffle cheese again. Since our last visit they have change the cheese provider; the cheese now comes from the island of Pag, a place famous for its sheep cheese. The taste is delicious, aged sheep cheese with hints of truffle.... A must try

Very nice place, good food, but very slow service. Fair price, sea food was fresh and tasty, pancake was a bit small ;) but very good. Recommend this place however prepare for a bit longer dinner due to the slow service.

Just came back from a weeks stay in Pomer and we came here twice. We were a party of 11 but the service was really quick and the food was great - the best in Pomer which is why we went twice. Only regret was not being organised to order the specials cooked over coals, you need to give 24... More

Wow this has to be the best place to eat in Croatia. Service was tops. Ambience second to none. The lamb pot cooked on the coals was to die for

I had waited come to Konoba Istriana, traditional cuisine restaurant for Easter lunch. Tried a couple of others that were also very nice, but nothing like this one. We had the traditional Istria beans soup and fish soup for appetizers and the famous seafood casserole as entree. We tried the Carob cake Albumin cheese for desserts. We had the house... More
