Great family-run restaurant

We ate fish menu and it was very good, however, I wouldn't call it excellent. The service was excellent. We got, for example, information about the types of soils Istrian vineyards have and tips on ´how to select good local wines. The price was maybe a bit higher than the average in Pula.

We went there on a recommendation from a local, and it was everything we expected and more! The food was amazing, great recommendations from the wait staff, and service was impeccable. Cannot say enough about it- a must stop for anyone going to Pula on vacation!!!

We recommend Vodnjanka to all of those who wants to taste most popular homemade Istrian specialities based on seasonal and fresh ingredients. We love it and we appreciate Vodnjanka's effort to maintain high range of quality and creativity in the frame of tradition. Nusa&Mario

Read about it in LP 2011 and were not sure it still existed. But yes , around a corner in the outskirts of Pula. At first we did'nt dare to enter but then we saw the little patio and fell in love. La Mama - charming lady - and all her staff , so nice and authentic! We had just... More

This lovely restaurant was recommended to us by several locals during our stay in Pula. It was a little hard to find since it's on the outskirts of the city center, but it is worth the hunt! We got to try Croatian specialties, I especially enjoyed the handmade Istrian noodles with asparagus and local ham. Some things on the menu... More

Nothing really fancy here. Decent place for a quick meal. Atmosphere and service are fine and really nothing more to say. Food is not that bad and its affordable. Wouldnt really reccommend but also wouldnt say its one of the worst.

Not easy to find and not in the old city centre, but well worth the 10 min walk, to sample Istrian specialties, including the best manestra I've had... Ever! Ignore the decor and let the staff tell you what is on the small menu for the day and just enjoy.
