Real deal local food and people

Located in a local neighbourhood a short walk from central Pula. It's a no frills trattoria with traditional homemade food. Fuzi with gravy was tasty! Side vegetables were wonderful. Fish broderico was heavy - Better suited to wintertime eating. Worth a visit if you're in the neighbourhood.

This was really good food experience. All we ate was very good and lamb for main course was perfect. I would recommend it.

Try this restaurant with homemade pasta. Staff and service were amazing. Nice terrace with view on the old town.

It's one of those restaurants that have been around for quite a while, but despite its age (or, in fact, exactly because of it) it managed keep its "realness". Instead of asking for the menu, just let the maître d' (which also happens to be the owner, while his parents, ex-owners, help him around as waiters... he is also the... More

Terrific place: bit out of the centre of the city but very walkable and worth the effort. We booked for dinner and were not disappointed although some menu items were not available because they had all gone at lunchtime. The pasta was homemade and outstandingly good, there was a terrific roast and a really good fish stew. The atmosphere is... More

Wonderful "homemade" food. I had the veal roast and it was amazing. The staff did however mess up the other orders, and failed to tell us that they where out of what they wanted. So I got my meal, then 5 minutes later my friend got hers. And then again 5 minutes later the last plate arrived. I would go... More

The place is hard to find and the working hours are a bit strange but the food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. Great place to fall in love with traditional and affordable Istrian cuisine.
