We booked this restaurant as a special treat for a special birthday. It was not the treat we expected. The waiter was very pleasant and informative, the chairs were very comfortable and there must be a very good pastry chef as both the bread and the cakes for desert were great. However the rest of the meal was mediocre and... More

We came here twice during our recent holiday in Croatia. It was recomended to us by the staff at our hotel and did not disappoint. The first night we went for an istrian three course meal with wine and the waiter, who spoke English very well, told us interresting facts about the food and wine. The hotel where the restaurant... As it is ranked as 12th restaurant in Istria region we decided to give it a try. We had marinated anchovies, buzara (shrimp) and some fine cakes as dessert. Couver (bruschetta and some cheese) that they offer is little bit without taste (lI would say lack of spices), buzara was really good and cakes was amazing (try one with almonds).... More

Took the six course degustation menu. Basic courses like mussels, fried octopus, pasta with tomatoes, fish. No combinations of tastes or special ingredients. Just plainly cooked or fried. For the price and the reputation it was a disappointment.

The Milan Restaurant is superb. In Pula for a conference, my daughter and i heard of this restaurant tucked into the intimate Milan Hotel only two days before leaving. Just in time! Seated at an elegant little table in a garden that flowed from a more formal dining room, our 4 course dinner (turned out to be 5) with wine... More

We were in Pula for 2 nights and didn't have high hopes for particularly good food. My hotel didn't offer any decent options and we found this place because it was mentioned in a guide book and I recalled seeing a sign for it on our way into the old town area. I'm glad we found it. The place was... More

We went to this restaurant with Croatian friends who have a restaurant themselves. The place itself is high class, I don't understand why the hotel part only has 3 stars, it looks much better than that. The restaurant is furnished to a very high standard. This high standard is continued by the quality of the staff, who are very helpful... More

The service is amazing as is the food. The waiter answered all our questions about the food and even told us how things were cooked and what wines complimented which dishes. Prawn Risotto is a must! Very rich in flavour and very filling. We also had a trio of starters and a trio of desserts with some locally produced olive... More
