The Milan Restaurant is superb. In Pula for a conference, my daughter and i heard of this restaurant tucked into the intimate Milan Hotel only two days before leaving. Just in time! Seated at an elegant little table in a garden that flowed from a more formal dining room, our 4 course dinner (turned out to be 5) with wine... More

We were in Pula for 2 nights and didn't have high hopes for particularly good food. My hotel didn't offer any decent options and we found this place because it was mentioned in a guide book and I recalled seeing a sign for it on our way into the old town area. I'm glad we found it. The place was... More

Excellent service 5 courses wine & coffee for £39 each All served with flair Unobtrusive waiter whom anticipated everything Mixed appetiser plate was delicious Scallops were a little bland ( ordered mussels but they had finished so offered them as an alternative) Sea bass was creamy and light filleted at the table Food and table well presented Excellent portion sizes

We went to this restaurant with Croatian friends who have a restaurant themselves. The place itself is high class, I don't understand why the hotel part only has 3 stars, it looks much better than that. The restaurant is furnished to a very high standard. This high standard is continued by the quality of the staff, who are very helpful... More

The service is amazing as is the food. The waiter answered all our questions about the food and even told us how things were cooked and what wines complimented which dishes. Prawn Risotto is a must! Very rich in flavour and very filling. We also had a trio of starters and a trio of desserts with some locally produced olive... More

We visited this restaurant with friends and had a very enjoyable evening. The service was amazing - our waiter was highly knowledgeable and very enthusiastic and served us some beautiful wines. Menu is small and food is regional.

Milan was recommended by our hotel staff and it was a good, but not great option. The food was good, service average, but expected more for price based on what we had previously in Croatia. Sardines for starter with marinated anchovies were average. Then mussels which were nice and good quantity, finishing with a fish (think sea bass) which was... More

This restaurant is one of Pula classics. It is mainly fish restaurant with fresh Adriatic fish, but also serves some meat dishes (beef steak for example). Although food is good, it is also quite expensive, but they offer interesting 4-dishes menus at reasonable price (30-40 euro for 4 dishes). There is also possibility to take wine & food menu, where... More

Milan is a classy fish restaurant. One of the very best in Croatia. Still, used to be "only" No 2 in Pula before Val Sabbion shut down in early 2012. That much to yokels who come to have some cheap fast food experience; vast majority luckily disappears upon setting their eyes on the place. It looks posh, both the terrace... More

I would recommend this restaurant if you are interested in quality food and wine in a good atmosphere, but not if you are looking for a cheap, casual type of place. Seafood is excellent, service is also ok. Would go back.
