The food here is awesome! We had a few of the traditional Bosnian dishes... aka meat on meat. The food was well prepared and our server was very nice and friendly. Prices were pretty reasonable considering some places in Dubrovnik can get expensive. They also have some great vegetarian dishes, so don't let that scare you off. Make a reservation... More

We had beef, lamb, and bureks. Everything was delicious. The food seems to be very carefully prepared with gusto. The service was good too. All the other guests seem to have enjoyed their meals immensely as well. They claim to be a Bosnian restaurant, even though they boast this strange Taj Mahal name, which, 9 out 10 times refers to... Brilliant food , reasonably price. My 1.5 year old daughter loved the soup (she's a very fussy eater), and the home made bread was amazing. We had the meat platter which was very filling :)

We were in Dubrovnik for three nights, and one thing I noticed is that while the food was generally good, there wasn't anything really different/remarkable... except Taj Mahal. I had never had Bosnian food before and was not disappointed. The wait staff were all friendly, professional, and ready to make suggestions on dishes that proved 100% spot on. I would... More

Nestled amongst the beautiful labyrinth of the Old Town of Dubrovnik, this traditional Aladdin's-cave-style Bosnian restaurant ticks each and every box. The menu doesn't disappoint, offering a range of Balkan cuisines, suited to any pallet. Impeccably warm and friendly service provided by local and engaging staff. Try the džingis kan (dried beef, sausage, peppers and spring onions) and get a... More

We ate here with our three young children--the person working was fabulous--he was kind, patient and attentive. the food was great--we all loved our meals and appetizers. it was slightly pricey, particularly considering it was lunch, but we are learning that dubrovnik is pricey overall. i was surprised though since we were there in the off season.

Unlike the name suggests, this is not an Indian restaurant, it's Bosnian. Everything we had here was delicious. So much so that we came back the next night. Frankly, I could have eaten here every night and probably would have if we weren't leaving. Some highlights and must-haves, in my opinion: - Speciality of the House "Taj Mahal" - it's... More

I highly recommend the Taj Mahal restaurant located in the old Dubrovnik city wall streets. Enjoyed the local fresh Bosnian cuisine from the Adriatic coast. Ordered yummy meat and cheese pastry pies (burek) plus another dish called chevapcici (beef rollups) served with a homemade fluffy soft roll (lepinja) plus the homemade sauces served as a side dish (Ajvar- red peppers,... Our dinner here was great. Different food, great atmosphere. The standout I ate was the "meat pie." It was excellent! I am still puzzled by the name, as it's neither in India or Indian food. :-)
