Quality Food

Enjoyed a meal here the food is very good and the white wines we had were excellent. The Kopun, a 16th century recipe, and the typical Croatian stew with homemade noodles were quite good. We did't particularity care for the seafood risotto it had a tomato sauce which is a bit unusual.

We visited Kopun on our first day in Dubrovnik, just as the restaurant was re-opening for the season, which means that we were lucky enough to have the whole outside area to ourselves. With the Jesuit church and old Jesuit school for backdrop, we got a very warm and friendly welcome, and the food, all sourced locally and beautifully fresh,... More

But this isn't one of them. Ok, granted, I ordered the cheapest thing on the menu because I wasn't that hungry, and you'll have to take my word for what I'm about to write because I didn't take a photo. I ordered the chicken, and when it came I got....chicken. Imagine someone you knew was sick for many days, and... More

This is an excellent restaurant. The food was superb, the choice of wines good, the service and knowledgable staff was top notch. It was all reasonably priced as well. I opted for the vegetarian choice which was really tasty. I highly recommend it.

This restaurant is located at the top of a set of stairs leading off the main square, opposite the Jesuit Church. It's a nice spot, a bit quieter than the main squares and streets but just a few steps away and still within the old town. The food is really nice and the service is friendly. I had two lunches... I stumbled across this restaurant strolling the back streets of Dubrovnik. It was off season and the old city was wonderfully empty and deeply enchanting. This restaurant was unassuming but when I went in to chat, the staff were very friendly. I went back for dinner that night with high expectations. I was not disappointed. Lovely grappa (never thought I... More

We decided to have dinner at this restaurant after one of the locals had mentioned they had a really good wine selection and delicious house wine (that was enough for me). The restaurant is a bit hidden. It sits right in front of the beautiful St. Ignatius church.Though the service was not the most attentive, we were extremely pleased with... More

Ideal restaurant for the sight-seer who needs to sit and contemplate. Within the old town but up steps and away from crowds, sitting outside in a very scenic square. Food and service good. Reasonably priced considering the great location.

When you imagine an al fresco restaurant in a medieval courtyard, this is exactly the setting you hope for. It would be worth it for the surroundings alone, in a quiet corner up the hill, but luckily the quality of the food backs it up, with big portions and nice presentation. On approach we kind of expected the place to... More

We spoke to 3 different tour guides who live in Dubrovnik and noted that this is a restaurant that they would go to when eating in Old Town. The good and variety did not disappoint - Dalmatian cuisine with fair prices and excellent house wine.
