We loved sitting outdoors to the Croatia specialty kopun which is a type of rooster. We had two variations of this dish while the other members in our group had the fish stew. All dishes were very good. We started our meal with the tuna lobster carpaccio which was delightful. We had the chocolate truffle mousse dessert which was a... More

We went here on recommendation of the Bed & Breakfast owner where we were staying. The restaurant has a great ambience in the evening, located under a tree & tables lit by candles & it is tucked away away from the hustle and bustle of the Main Street. The staff were friendly and attentive, even thought they were very busy.... More

Very nice location and seating outside give us a particularly nice feeling. The staff is very friendly, and the food is delicious, portions are quite large. Price-quality ratio is excellent, making this one of the nicest restaurants in Dubrovnik.

Kopun was recommended to us and we had a little difficulty finding it. However, once found, we were in a quiet area, away from the crowds. There were 2 other restaurants near us, but it was off the main streets where most of the tourists are. They had a lunch special and their fried calamari was excellent...lightly breaded and not... Enjoyed our meal here. My wife and I tried the pasticada, gnocchi was not stodgy as it can be.. Friend liked the mussels.

In a lovely hidden square at top of Jesuit steps. Our waiter needed some further training in the art of polite dining service but we did see the funny side! Hubby's beef with gnocchi was very good but my monkfish was overcooked and rubbery and accompanying risotto a bit bland. Restaurant was very popular so I'm sure they are doing... More

Restaurants in Dubrovnik are usually expensive and the quality is not the best. This is a good place, not excellent, but if you want to eat good meat (the famous cappon) or fish and not spend too much this is the place where you can go. We had cappon a la dubrovnik (very good) and shrimps with rice and salad... More

Before I get to anything else, I have to say that I LOVED the chocolate fondant. It was a yummy little freshly-baked chocolate cake with berries & cream on the side. So tasty! The setting is super picturesque - right across from St. Ignatius, and there seems to always be a music performer in that square. All of the other... More

Had high expectations of Kopun after seeing good reviews both on here and elsewhere on the internet. What followed was probably one of our least favourite meals of the holiday, mainly down to extremely mediocre food, which was also overpriced. Their chefs need to learn how to season a lot better. The mussels were so poor and drenched in salt,... More

Our tour guide took us to this lovely restaurant in the Old Town of Dubrovnik. Wonderful outdoor seating and the food and service was excellent. I'd do this again in a heartbeat.
