Our hotel, Pucic Palace recommended this place and it's right up the stairs from there. Sat outside and had a charming server attend to all our requests. Salads are ever so fresh and even this non meat eater had some other great choices on the menu. My husband had one of the specialty meat... read more

The location was nice, but the restaurant had little ambiance. The waitress upsold us on all dishes, but the quality didn't justify it. We had a much better meal the next night at Rozario (see separate review). The wine list was unspectacular. Two pluses: the location is good, and we did love the artwork on the walls.

We enjoyed dinner at Kopun twice during our stay in Dubrovnik and had excellent food and service both times. The setting next to the church is very romantic for patio dining at night. Capon is their specialty and I had a delicious, fresh capon salad the first night and the capon with a porcini mushroom sauce on the second occasion.... More

Nothing to complain about. Nice wholesome food in a nice quiet place away from the centre of town, but still only a short walk.

We arrive very late (21p.m), but even that fact our dinner was very good. The Wine, main dishes and the desert are tasty and the space very sweet. It's a little bit hidden from the big confusion, ideal for couples with kid's. They can play in the empty square, while the adults enjoy the food. The price it's normal, not... More

Kopan is an outdoor plaza restaurant located proximate to the Jesuit church. It setting is perfect. A nice breeze blows through and blankets are provided if it becomes too chilly..The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food, unfortunately, was not memorable.I had a traditional beef dish and my wife had the capon. Both were covered in a rich, dark wine... More

A bit out of the way, so you won't be dining with the cruise ship tourists, but you will enjoy sitting out side in a relaxing atmosphere. Wonderful mediterrean salad with peppers and two different black olives, thoughtfully plated. My partner loved her capon salad--very flavorful. And, after northern Italian bread made without salt, theirs was so edible! Great service... More

Late October supper outside in a beautiful setting. Home made bread lovely and soft, if a bit salty. The rooster signature dishes were nice and flavourful. Sons were happy with their monkfish and calamari. Good fried potatoes. Puddings were nice. Very pleasant meal in special location.

Approached via a romantic baroque staircase Kopun sits above the madness of Dubrovnik's main square. Sitting opposite the jesuit church is a great location to sample one of the most beloved croatian recipes. Capon is castrated cockerel served in a red wine sauce with mushrooms, not a million miles away from a hearty winter stew, seemed strange to order midday... More

When on holiday we don't go back to the same place to eat - except this one. We went back two nights running. Set at the top of the 'Game of Thrones' - walk of shame steps, just off the Market Place, Kopun Restaurant is the one on the left full of diners (the other restaurant was empty both nights)... More
