Dubrovnik can be very crowded and so can the restaurants. Rosario is away from the main gate to the old city and is more isolated and quiet. Lunch was had outside sitting just next to the old wall. Service superb. We were going to have dinner elsewhere but after waiting a long time with hardly a glance from a waiter,...

Food in this restaurant was average - my husband had some delicious fish and my steak was not the best. Staff very friendly and service good. Lovely location on a side street near a church.
Can't see why this is rated #11 at the time of writing. The food was good but not exceptional. The service was good. What really annoyed us was that they would not give us tap water with our carafe of wine, we had to order a bottle of mineral water. Shame. (Incidentally there was no 0.5l option on the house...

Cozy restaurant, tucked away in a quiet corner of the city. Food was excellent - we both had steak in fig sauce - - delicious!

A lovely little restaurant in the side streets. Great food - flavoursome fish stew especially good. Locals eating here too - great wine and great service.
This charming restaurant is in a secluded corner of the old town near the Ploce entrance serves delicious seafood at reasonable prices. After two visits I would highly recommend the lobster and seabass. The seafood soup was just OK. The atmosphere and decor are comfortable and casual (might be too casual for a business meal -- on one visit there...
