We were staying at Radisson Blu (1.5 mile away) - nice but you couldn't escape the feeling you were at some monster resort. So, we paid the £11 taxi fee each way and tried Kasar. It was faultless - food, service, location (both inside and out), the wine, the fish, everything. We were in the area for a week, the... More

Lovely terrace with scenic view over the bay, but also very good interior with ancient stone fireplace. Dishes prepared traditionally in an open charcoal fireplace, excellent seafood especially the black risotto - I would have it every time! Only downside, a very ancient cat.

Fish can't come fresher. Ours was caught by Kresko that morning and cooked by him to perfection as a bouillabaisse for our lunch on the lovely terrace on the sea just in front of the restaurant. He baked the bread that we had with anchovies and salad for starters and no doubt participated in the production of the delicious home... More

We stopped in this village for lunch (party of four), wandered along the waterfront to this restaurant, and found the service and food good. The place was not busy and we had a table beside the water, on a warm sunny day. Nice view out to the bay. Price didn't seem out of line. Would go back again although I... More

Food fine, not exceptional. Outdoor seating is not set up to suggest any ambience, with surrounding tables bare and bar like. The bill was definitely higher than any of our other memorable Croatia restaurants. Unfortunately service seemed to interrupt the family dining which included the household cat at the table.

What a great find! I took my boyfriend for his birthday meal and was not disappointed. Although we couldn't sit outside, the inside is an old port house which is quite interesting but we could still look out onto the water. We had the octopus grill which was fantastic! Never tasted octopus as good! And it was beautifully paired with... More

This does sit along the waterside, friendly service and good food, one of the better places we ate in the area. Homemade desserts of creme caramel or chocolate cake also great, Recommend for visit,

We had a beautiful lunch here on our last day of holiday, and we finished on a high. The service was prompt and polite but relaxed. The seafood was so fresh and cooked to perfection. Whilst not cheap, you get what you pay for. The view was pretty, and the atmosphere was chilled. We had a whole fish barbecued, grilled... More

My wife and I booked a waterfront table through our hotel (Hilton Imperial Dubrovnik). It's about a 20 minute taxi ride north of the old city. Once we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the picturesque setting. It's a small restaurant, located along an inlet that reminded us of a small lake. For the first part of our evening the... In our villa the owners recommended this little place to eat. As we had just visited Cavat we drove on to Zaton Veliliki and found this little place. At first we saw all the outdoor tables had reservation signs on but it was on luck when my husband asked if there was any place for us to eat and we... More
