Visited this restaurant on a recent holiday and had great service from Maria. With help, I chose the beefsteak which was very tender and full of flavour. The restaurant was a little quiet but there had been thunderstorms during the day. Maria had time to talk to us and we had a great night including the free grappa !

We stumbled across this restaurant on the way to Buza bar - the waiter was very convincing about the food and made certain recommendations after asking us what we liked to eat - there was no hard sell. The food was delivered quickly was hot and of a reasonable standard - we did struggle with our dinks however as neither... More

Not too happy with our dinner at this place. Waiter was very energetic and made the impression to be a salesman on commission. For example he tried hard to sell the most expensive wine on the menu. We ordered the house-wine, which he billed with double price, saying it was 0,2 instead of 0,1. We ordered a Ribeye as main... More

We came here after exploring old town as saw it on our way to cafe buza and decided to come back after having some drinks by the water. We ordered three dishes to share between two people. They also have quite a large drinks menu and one of the few places in Croatia who serve cider. The meat platter came... More

Had lunch here - much more peaceful than the hustle and bustle of the centre of town. Outside tables were well laid out - not too close together, shady with a gentle breeze. I don't think they have tables inside. Great food - I had the local sausages - cevapcici, absolutely delicious with a salad garnish and a really tasty... More

The restaurant is in the square outside the Jesuit church and a bit away from the crowds. The staff are friendly. We had gilt head which was good and tuna which was OK.

First the service was welcoming. The waiter made fantastic recommendations - from appetizer, main dish to panna cotta with local honey for dessert. Very impressed with this one. Meal was delightful (waiter even threw in grappa afterwards). Worth the climb up the stairs!

Really a great restaurant in a beautiful location. Had wonderful dishes, the vegetarian risotto was absolutely delicious. Loved the croatian rose wine as well. Mateo was extremely friendly and professional and made us some foamy cappuccinos He recommended a few dishes and made us try some local Grappa that we absolutely loved! Highly recommend this place while inside the wall!

Enjoyable place for a meal away from the incredibly busy central streets. Food is good and not expensive. House wine also very palatable although waiter keen to offer more appropriate ( more expensive?) option. Across from popular venue for wedding photographs which provided an interesting spectacle
