We took a not-so-short walk from the main town to find this place just to see that it was closed to the public. Apparently they only do catering, banquets and large parties by appointment. We were in the middle of nowhere and had to walk to the nearest restaurant, Otto Taverna, which was awesome.

We have just had a lovely meal at Fjelica. There was complimentary bread. Two of us had Greek salad, which was absolutely delicious 10/10. One had mushroom risotto, nice, but big chuncks of garlic, 7/10. One had chicken stuffed with ham and cheese sauce 10/10. One had Zagreb steak, pork stuffed with cheese and ham, with a little gurkin 7/10,... More

My wife and I went here because Trip Advisor said it was close. It is hidden past some windy stairways, but you smell it way before you see it. They have a simple traditional Croatian menu at a very reasonable price. Just 110 kuna for two people including drinks. The food is great. The staff doesn't speak English well, but... More

This family-run restaurant is nothing more than a simply-furnished room, it feels like home. The meals are tasty and cheap, definitely recommended. Cons: the waitress speaks poor English and the restaurant is closed on Sunday. All in all, good value for money.

Superb croatian cuisine. If you want to eat with the locals, this is the place to go. No fuss, great food and it won't break your budget. Highly recommended!

Checked this place out tonight partly due to proximity to our apt and partly due to previous reviews. As the title says this place was cheap, tasty, unpretentious Croatian food and very much value for money. It may be a world away from some of the fancy, tourist eateries on the front street but just what was required for myself,... More

We ate good wholesome food - chops, schnitzels with freshly made chips and really enjoyed the free salad and fresh bread with it. Just be aware that this is a day time restaurant. It is only open until 8 PM, so it's fine for an early supper. If you want to eat later then you'll have to look elsewhere. And,... More
