THE PIZZA PLACE in Dubrovnik

Located just under the famous Dubrovnik Cable Car, this small pizza place is unavoidable stop for all into this excellent Italian specialty. Why? Wood fire stove. A small terrace just above the place provides a great atmosphere. A place to recommend for sure!

This is the place our local guide suggested we go for pizza. It was very affordable and very good! Lots of room just outside the craziness of Old City. I would highly recommend their pizza.

Visited this restaurant during an off peak time in June. It was very difficult to place and order, despite thy fact that it took over 20 minutes to arrive the pizza was undercooked. The attitude of the staff member when we highlighted this to her was complete indifference. My advice give the place a miss there are so many better... More

Once we found Pizzeria Tabasco (after getting lost down a few lanes) we returned more than once. The restaurant is much easier to find if you approach from the front entrance. Excellent value with super tasty wood fired pizzas in a cobbled courtyard (or indoors if required) very close to the city walls. Best pizza we had in Croatia.

Some of the best I've had traveling around Italy and Croatia. Wood-fired oven makes the pizza crust crispy and blistered. Delicious!

Great value for money, friendly and helpful service. We actually ate here twice we enjoyed the pizza that much!! Lots of choice and even the Greek salad was amazing! Our guide on the sea kayaking told us to come and we were amazed at how lovely everything was.

Stoped by this restaurant on my way down from a trip to the top of the hill with the Cable cat. Ordered mushroom pizza (funghi) and olives in a regular size ...it was very good with two black olives on it (they had pits so watch out) although I typically prefer a little more pizza sauce it was very good... The pizza was large but not very good. I've had pizza all over the US and Europe and even bad pizza can be okay but this was pushing my limits. It was soggy, salty and kind of bland. Although it wasn't expensive it wasn't worth what we paid for it. The service was abysmally slow even by European standards. Maybe... More

Traditional italian pizza from wood burning owen! The wonderful taste whatever you choose to put in it. Different sizes as well...you wait for around 10 to 15 minutes on a busy night, and it's worth it. It's close to a fortress.

The outdoor space here is lovely. Our serve was super sweet. The Greek salad was so tasty. As was the burrata and tomatoes. We also split a pizza, which was the the best pizza ever because the crust was a little soggy - probably our fault. Too many topping. But I had the pizza from outside in to avoid the... More
