Description: Kazbek dining experience:The rich and varied gastronomic cultures of Croatia are not only served at Kazbek they are proudly presented in their full and glorious light. Croatian cuisine is heterogeneous, and is therefore known as "the cuisine of regions". The cuisine reflects the influence of various cultures, having distinctive regional qualities.Along the Dalmatian coast the cuisine tends to be Mediterranean. Northern and eastern Croatian cuisine tends to be heartier, showing the influences of Hungary and Austria. The different areas of Croatia offer an amazing array of delectable produce, grown on the small farmsteads, fished from the deep blue waters or lovingly made from recipes passed down through centuries. Our menu reflects a pride in Croatian cuisine and produce. Our ingredients are the finest and freshest available, and of course are all locally produced. The Kazbek Hotel is proud to present three elegant dining & cocktail venues:The Main Restaurant:The main restaurant, located on the ground level in the hotel is very appreciated because of the old stone vault creating a peaceful and historic atmosphere. The Courtyard Terrace:The Courtyard Terrace located within the walls of Kazbek offers a relaxed ambience surrounded by lush Mediterranean vegetation. Soak up the morning sun while enjoying your breakfast and experience the colours of the Croatian cuisine in the cozy and romantic evening atmosphere. The Balcony:When you are ready for cocktails and conversation, our lovely Balcony Terrace overlooking the lively Gruz Bay is a perfect venue. A comfortable lounge setting and unique evening illumination create an unforgettable atmosphere while enjoying our wide selection of cocktails and sweets.

A beautiful stone compound fronting on the Port of Dubrovnik. The dining room, a barrel vaulted stone structure that could have been a stable or warehouse has a lovely view of the Port. You sit at ample tables distributed with a restraint that astonishes one with the a amount of elbow room and comfort you will enjoy. Your napkin is... More

Nice presented food, but still a little overpriced. You should not have to pay same prices as in Rome or New York in a small little hotel in Croatia. There was only a few eating guest in the place, so we had really good service. But if the prices of the courses and wine list was a little less, more people would... More

My husband and I ate here on the first and last nights of our stay in Dubrovnik. The service was excellent on both occasions, particular credit goes to Marijio who was great and helped us with an excellent wine recommendation. The lamb skewers are the best main I have ever eaten, so good I had them twice and my husband... More

We enjoyed our meal in a peaceful atmosphere. it was early in the season and we were the only diners. The waiter was attentive and solicitous without being over bearing.

Stayed nearby at the Hotel Lapad and happened to walk past this restaurant which looked special compared to nearby establishments. Decided to have a meal on the last evening of our holiday and were not dissapointed. Excellent meal which was beautifully presented with locally sourced ingredients.

I had the stuffed squid which was quite tasty . But the highlight is the unique setting on a courtyard looking out onto the port and the attentive service. Our waiter Marijo was so friendly and recommended some excellent Croatian wines. The restaurant is never busy so its perfect if you're looking for a quiet romantic dinner. We were saying... More

Outside the European metropoles, one has to expect that restaurants are closed in the afternoon, or have a reduced selection - I made good experience in the past to stick with restaurants being part of an upper class hotel for late business lunchs! - So today we did a "stress test" on the main restaurant of Dubrovnik's Kazbek Hotel... We had a dinner for two (two starters, 2 mains and - yes! 2 desserts) recently. We didn't know whether we would be able to get into the Kazbek, as we didn't know how many non-residents they could accomodate, being a boutique hotel. We were delighted that they found space for us.
