We went to Dalmatino on our last night in Dubrovnik. Food, wine, service and atmosphere was all very good. As I've mentioned in other reviews, most restaurants in Dubrovnik serve fairly traditional food. This was by far the best of those restaurants. I'd definitely recommend visiting if in the city.

We where a group of 19 people who had dinner at this very, very good restaurant everyone was satisfied and the service was exelent. The lobster and the shrimps and the veal and steak was great. What a hidden treasure, do not miss this one.

We went here on a recommendation from a friend and were not disappointed. Very friendly, welcoming and knowledgable staff, great food and good wine recommendations. The black seafood risotto was delicious, as was our platter of grilled fish - though there was a little too much olive oil for my liking. Great value for money, definitely worth a visit.

I had a meal in Dalmatino in June 2013, so when I returned to Dubrovnik in September 2014 I made a bee line. I wasn;t disappointed. The service is great, the food is really lovely and the wine is nice. I enjoy the experience of sitting in the alleyways of Dubrovnik and almost being in people's houses. I would recommend... More

We found this place through theGood Food festival that was going on while we were there (hotel let me know about it). The festival featured mushy restaurants that offered a special menu. Food as fantastic, service was good and the restaurant itself was very charming with lots of character. If we would have found this earlier in our stay, we... More

Dalmatino is well located in the heart of Old Town and has tables outside, as many restaurants there do. Unlike many others, however, this one features real local food and a great wine selection complete with a waiter who knows his wines. We had a wonderful meal and would definitely return.

The waiter was attentive, suggested lovely wine for our tastes. We shared an octopus salad as a starter. There was plenty for two, too much for one. It was lovely. We had john dory and shrimp for mains. Both were so tasty. Even the bread was lovely. We had the poached pear and chocolate fondant for dessert. I wasn't expecting... More

Our family had dinner at this restaurant and we ate homemade pasta, mussles, calamari, veal skewer and a seafood skewer. The food was definitely among the best meals we've had! Our orders arrived quickly and everybody loved their food. The staff was very helpful and pollite. High chair for our baby was not a problem. I hope to return to... More

Likely one of the best in the Old City. It’s small, and there is a pleasant inside dining room, but part of the fun is to sit outside along the narrow passageway, and watch the people while you eat. The fish is fresh and very nicely done, as are the ”non-seafood” choices. The risottos are worth going for all by... More

Lovely surroundings, friendly staff but most of all beautifully cooked, well presented, tasty food. There are a lot of restaurants in Dubrovnik so it is difficult to find a good place to eat. This is well worth a visit. The food is mainly meat or fish based and quite simple but was cooked to perfection making this one of the... More
