The waiter was attentive, suggested lovely wine for our tastes. We shared an octopus salad as a starter. There was plenty for two, too much for one. It was lovely. We had john dory and shrimp for mains. Both were so tasty. Even the bread was lovely. We had the poached pear and chocolate fondant for dessert. I wasn't expecting... More

Our family had dinner at this restaurant and we ate homemade pasta, mussles, calamari, veal skewer and a seafood skewer. The food was definitely among the best meals we've had! Our orders arrived quickly and everybody loved their food. The staff was very helpful and pollite. High chair for our baby was not a problem. I hope to return to... More

Likely one of the best in the Old City. It’s small, and there is a pleasant inside dining room, but part of the fun is to sit outside along the narrow passageway, and watch the people while you eat. The fish is fresh and very nicely done, as are the ”non-seafood” choices. The risottos are worth going for all by... More

Lovely surroundings, friendly staff but most of all beautifully cooked, well presented, tasty food. There are a lot of restaurants in Dubrovnik so it is difficult to find a good place to eat. This is well worth a visit. The food is mainly meat or fish based and quite simple but was cooked to perfection making this one of the... More

We were recently in Croatia for just over two weeks, along the Dalmatian coast. Our last stop was Dubrovnik, at which we came across this absolute gem of a restaurant. Dalmatino was honestly one of the best restaurants we ate at in our entire holiday. We shared the tuna sashimi, fried calamari and squid salad for starters- the squid salad... More

After winding our way through the rabbit warrens of the old narrow streets of Dubrovnik old town, we stumbled across this little gem of a restaurant. It was the owner that served us, he was very relaxed, nothing was a problem, the typical old school way of life there I think! My girlfriend and I had mini bottles of prosecco,... More

Wowzer! The tuna sashimi was excellent here. Really fresh and just that level of fattiness you want with good tuna. The veal was great too. The other half had huge food jealousy, though her risotto was good and her seafood kebabs seemed to keep her pleased enough. The bottle of rose was really good. Really excellent service on top made... More

First time we are writing a review on Trip Adviser and feel it is absolutely worth mentioning what a fantastic experience and delicious food we had at Dalmatino. We visited the restaurant the first night we arrived, as found it by chance up many of the beautiful side streets of the Old City. They were fully booked, however asked if... More

We did not have a reservation but we were able to get a table near the entrance. We would have sat outside but it was lightly raining. The food was very well prepared and the service was fine. I would recommend this place if you looking for a place for dinner in the old town area
