Loved this restaurant from start to finish. The ambience was lovely, we were seated inside as it was raining and were very comfortable and really liked the decor. The food was excellent. The chef's pasta was fantastic, best we have had. This was followed by the veal skewers which my husband really enjoyed, and the Greek salad which I had... More

The experience at this restaurant was very good. We sat inside and found the atmosphere to be fairly romantic- dinner by candle light. The service wasn't great but perhaps the waiters were just having a bad day. The food is worth it though. I had a tuna steak which was beautifully tender and just melted away in your mouth as... Had John Dory and veal skewers. They were both quite nice - definitely worth a try. The setting is not very special but price is reasonable considering it is in tourist's packed old town.

We arrived about 7:30pm on a beautiful Sunday evening without reservations and were pleasantly surprised to be seated promptly. The dining room is nicely lit, inviting and comfortable. Among the 4 of us we had a bottle of the most inexpensive red wine (plavac), which was very drinkable - full-bodied and dry. We had the black risotto (superb), gazpacho (tasty,... More

Had a nice dinner, almost fine dining quality with reasonable prices and friendly service. Worth visiting! The steaks were undercooked, but the seafood (mussels, John Dory, calamari etc) was nice and fresh.

I am very satisfied with not only the food but also price. Sometime I feel salty in Croatian food but Dalmatino's food was not salty. It's was just yummy and great. I'll visit this restaurant again if I have a chance to come Dubrovnik again.

The starters were great, but the main of seafood platter wasn't amazing. Really gorgeous interior and very good service though.

Dalmatino is set back from the street, and provides a relaxing and quiet atmosphere. The menu is not expansive, but each dish that we tried was refined and well prepared. Restaurant was clean and well decorated, staff was friendly and provided great service. We particularly liked the John Dory fish, "Drunken" Prawn, fried calamari, and cheesecake. We ate there 3... The Dalmatino was definitely one of the top three restaurants we visited during 10 days in Dubrovnik, and would have earned 5 stars if every course was a good as my starter - pasta with Istrian truffles and porcini mushrooms in a cream and white wine sauce - which was just sublime. We tried similar dishes elsewhere, but this was... More

Tried to get in the first night but it was full so booked a table for 3 people or the following night. De Great food. We only had main courses . I opted for steak as I had so much seafood over the recent ads in dubrovnik. I asked for medium rare but it was almost blue. However, the waiter... More
