A nice spot for lunch

We stopped here on our first day in Dubrovnik, mainly because of the lovely location just under the city walls with views over the harbour. The food was good and was made even better by the live jazz that accompanied it. Service was ok. A nice place for lunch.

So admittedly since my wife and I were just having a coffee we probably weren't high on their priority list. This was our first cafe we visited in Dubrovnik after travelling down from Split. In Split each time we ordered a coffee in a cafe they'd bring out a glass of tap water to go with it (most of the... More

We ate at Poklisar for lunch, and the food was gorgeous! We ordered two cocktails which took quite a while to come, but we were given bread and pate while we waited, and when they came you could see they'd been prepared properly. Service was a bit lacking, the waiter tried clearing the table whilst I still had food on... More

Surprisingly good food for its location. Very tasty pizza would also recommend wok chicken dish - very tasty! Pleanty of choice on the menu a little more expensive than others but we felt it was worth it! Enjoy!

The people working there were so rude, although all the tables were empty and he said we can't seat there and they all reserved, I swear literally all the seats were empty. Also my husband had her soda with him and they said we can not leave it on the table and we have to keep it under table that's... More

We went here twice for ice cream and both times, the girl serving us rolled her eyes and was rude. I asked if my daughter could try a tiny taste of one flavour to see if she likes before buying (normal in Italy) and she clearly did not approve - even though we were going to buy three ice creams... The restaurant is well located by the harbour entance and there's live music quite often. Music from the loud speakers would maybe not attract the younger crowd, but the tunes from the '70 & '80 might lure in some older crowd. Food is quite average and restaurants good location shows on the prices. If you want to enjoy for the... More

The location of Poklisar restaurant is very nice but what caught me and my friends as we were walking in the old town was the jazz music. It made the atmosphere so nice and made us sit down and enjoy a very good meal of risotto with sea food and a very good local white wine! The whole time there... More

Afraid we walked in (in April and it was a cold day) and the toilets smelt really strong and put us off and walked straight out. The food may be fine but the smell was horrid….smelly urine!!

Dear guests, Please be informed that close to our terrace is public toilet. It is hidden in a small alley. You have definitely entered into the public toilet. Our toilets are always totally clean and smell nice as we have an employee who is in charge of the cleanliness of the restaurant and our toilets. As per job description our... More

We all loved Dubrovnik and saw and heard the Jazz from this restaurant from the walk around the city walls. Quick walk down and we were seated outside listening to jazz and enjoying excellent service from the staff. We only had pizza's but they were excellent. The Jazz added to the atmosphere without being overbearing and I would recommend this... More
