Best vegetarian we found in Croatia

Our group of 4 comprised 2 vegetarians and two meat eaters, but we were all impressed by the choice and the flavours of the selected dishes. After reading many positive reviews, my husband and I were disappointed by our experience at Nista. The food was ok... we can smell the spices but there wasn't much flavor. The staff didn't seem engaged and weren't very helpful in answering our questions. Overall, our experience was average. There are many other restaurants with great vegetarian options and I would... Our taxi driver from the airport, on hearing we were vegetarian, recommended Nishta in the Old City to us and it turned out to be an excellent recommendation. We visited four times, twice for food and twice for drinks, and on all occasions found the service to be very friendly and helpful. The range of choice was really broad and... More

As a vegetarian I was of course very happy to have an array of options to choose from in a strictly vegetarian restaurant amongst the otherwise predominantly fish and meat-based restaurants. The menu was imaginative and the food was good quality. We enjoyed our meal here, although we found that there was room for improvement with the service. I would... More

This is a small cafe recommended to us by Nina at Apartments Zoro and it was the food highlight of our trip. Imaginative flavours and colourful combinations it would satisfy non vegetarians too. Great local beer also.

Was having a lovely dinner at another restaurant and got talking with the people at the next table, they suggested I should visit this place. I walked by to have a look and the place seems really nice, read the reviews and again it seems to be good. So the next day I came around for lunch, however I felt... More

An average place with a blunt food not even resembling Indian. Very disappointing experience when you expect to get something tasting completely different than what you get. Otherwise staff was ok.

A tiny inside and small outside area. We were attracted by the sign at the bottom of the street and went in search of vegetarian food. What a find! The tiny inside dining area was fascinating, inscribed with recipes and calm thoughts. And the menu, varied and also fascinating, was enticing. Two lovely different soups (one cold, one hot) then... We ate her twice during our stay, it is a little expensive but some of the dishes are nice, including the pakoras, stir fry with tofu, falafels were ok with the salad on the side was disapointing, more thought needed for this dish. The courgette spagetti was horrible - not a pleasant taste at all. The staff are lovely and... More
