Recommended this place by our hostel on our first night when we didn't want to search and just wanted to sit down for dinner. Hidden away, a lovely courtyard away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets. Did try to push a bottle rather than a glass of wine, but given we were tired from the flight, we... More

We tried to get into The Taj Mahal but it was fully booked so walked into Marco Polo on impulse. As other contributors have noted it sits in a very quaint court yard and so doesn't have the masses pushing past you as you try to eat as is the case with many Dubrovnik restaurants. The service was good and... More

We ate here on our last night in Dubrovnik having stumbled across it accidentally. The restaurant is very pretty, set in a small court yard, just off the main drag. The waiting staff are excellent and certainly the best we found in Croatia- all very obliging, attentive and friendly. Unfortunately the food was pretty disappointing and average. The meat was... Lovely setting in a quiet courtyard, excellent waiting staff. Very good food including black risotto, sea bass, pork medallions and grilled chicken, unlimited bread and a very nice house white wine. 4 starters, main courses, wine and 4 cokes cost 750kn. If you like this, suggest you also consider Kopun and Dalmatino, you won't be disappointed.

I had my eye on this restaurant since arriving in Dubrovnik as our apartment stairs overlooked it. It gave a chilled and quaint impression and my instinct was correct! It's not big enough to be too busy, which is what I really liked. The waiters were very attentive and had a great sense of humour. My husband and I were... More

Nice location, welcome setting, well build menu BUT the execution didn't hold to the level. It seems that there is no Chef in the kitchen. The dishes was just O.K minus, the portion size was quite small (wasn't enough for 8 years old boy). The price on the other hand was much too high. Family of 5 with 1 salad,... More

Had the Khublai Khan biff 2 nights on row, georgeos. The Merlot wine was an excellent choice. I think I got the strongest red wine ever, 16,8 %. A very good wine, but a little sweet together with the beef in my opinion. The service and attention was superb

Octopus carpaccio was good. Lots of good meat dishes on the menu. Staff were helpful in giving recommendation for food and wine. Good atmosphere. Seafood platter for 2 was great!

Lovely restaurant tucked away from the main street. I had sea bass which was the best I've ever had in a restaurant and my brother had pork medallions which was also excellent. Bit of a limited dessert menu (only 3 options) but other than that I would highly recommend Marco Polo. Good selection of meat, pasta, risotto and fish all... More

Croatian fusion cuisine! Had the octopus carpaccio for appetizer. It's a must! Then had the Khubla Khan beefsteak. Tender and flavorful. Lamb chops also amazing! This restaurant has great service and a great menu.
