Hidden gem in the hearth of Old Town Dubrovnik!Restaurant Marco Polo is hidden in the hearth of the Dubrovnik Old Town, in a traditional courtyard of street called Lučarica. Small family restaurant is placed in a private and calm ambient and it offers oasis of busy streets to taste fish, meat and vegetarian specialties of the house. Here is the place where you can taste both traditional recipes from our grandmothers like mussels and seashells in traditional red or white sauce called ‘’Buzzara’’, traditional Black risotto or some of our modern dishes like Tuna Steak Precious Blue in sesame crust.Sharing our food and culture with people all around the world is inspiration for us. We use ingredients like Adriatic tuna, octopus, homemade anchovies, Croatian cheese, Oysters from Ston, extra virgin olive oil from Island of Korčula and lot of herbs to present you taste of our cuisine and culture.Accompanied with excellent Croatian wine, beer and homemade liquors be sure you will experience our past and future on a plate.

Excellent tuna and vine

Situated on a lovely street in Dubrovnik Old town. We were lucky to get a table immediately. The food was delicious. We ate their original dishes, tuna in sesame and kublai khan beefsteak which is in some white cream sauce with veg. I can tell it was really fresh tuna steak, one of the best i ever... read more

Family and friendly restaurant situated in the street next to main street in the Old Town. Upon arrival waiters welcomed us warmly ,and right away I knew we took a seat in the great restaurant. As a starter we had mussels and octopus carpaccio which was stunning... mussels were also great but octopus carpacio was really something unique worth of... More

We went to Marco Polo on the last night of our Dubrovnik stay - a friend had booked it and I didn't know what to expect. It was incredible. Every single dish the three of us ordered was so delicious and perfectly served - a delight for the tongue and the eye. Needless to stay, I have never experienced the... More

Again, we asked locals for their recommendation for food and again, we were NOT disappointed. We loved the cozy atmosphere and homemade Dalmatian food that we enjoyed here. Great place to have dinner. You'll enjoy a great meal!

The staff are all very knowledgeable and happily explain everything about the food and drink you are being served, often accompanied by a little story about where it is sourced from or it's traditions. It is clear that the whole team are passionate about their guests and the produce that they serve. This restaurant is a must go. If you... More

Five of us had a beautiful meal last night. Menus were well thought. We had the best black risotto and tuna ever combined with a bottle of the red local wine. The staff were very professional but at the same time friendly. It all added up to a great evening.

We were recommended this place by front office in our hotel and it was exceptional. It's hidden in the Old City just next to main attaractions like st. Blasus church. It was very peacefull place which is important since it can get crazy in Dubrovnik in August. We had traditional fuzi (pasta) and fish wich was fresh and very tasty.... More

Lovely restaurant down a side street just off the main street - what a great find! We had the lamb chops and pork medallions which were beautifully presented. With wine and delicious high quality food the bill was less than 500kn. Couldn't recommend enough, great service...
