The staff were very friendly and accommodating in this restaurant but sadly the food was average at best. Lots of better options nearby.

This place was recommended to us so we tried the seafood platter for 2 at 280 Kunas. A bit pricey for the portions and the 2 prawns was really tiny. The Stonebay oysters was also tiny. But they had a good selection of Croatian wines with accompanying descriptions. A neighboring table had steak cooked with truffle and that dish smelt... More

We'd visited this restaurant on our last trip to Dubrovnik in July 2011. It was the best restaurant then and it still is in July 2014. For our first meal we had sea bass which was really lovely: a delicate flavour, simply cooked and not covered in salt which can sometimes be an issue in Croatia. After I had expressed... More

We visited the restaurant with our three children, and at the door where we were greeted (actually a corridor) we were told that they could make what our children would like if we didn't see it on the menu. They gave us books and toys to amuse our littlest one, which was greatly appreciated. They also gave us extra bread... More

I was a little turned off by the owner when he got into a philosophical lecture on the qualities of various wines, but his wine selection was excellent as was the food. My grilled calamari was very tender, and it had the best sauce I've ever had. My husband's tuna was fresh, clean (not a lot of connective tissue which... More

The service was certainly slow and we found that (in line with our experience in Croatia) the waiting staff is rarely friendly, attentive, or welcoming. We both had the catch of the day, sea bass, which excited us immensely, until the food was served that is. It was okay...just that really. The fish, for some reason, was swimming in oil... More

Really enjoyed our meal here. We were seated at a table in the narrow street rather than in the main square area, and I preferred this setting as it was quiet and I had a view of the cablecar and hills as the sun was setting. The service was good, the restaurant was extremely busy and we were served within... More

Absolutely appalling service, so very rude. We had to wait 20min before anyone took notice that we had been seated and then had to ask for service. The starters where mediocre, but the mains left me seething, this horse hole should hang their aprons up and do Old Town Dubrovnik a favour and clear off.

Nice small restaurant in the heart of the old town. Ask the waiter to sing you he is so funny. It was the best dinner in Dubrovnik

We ate at this restaurant twice during our 7 night stay. The fish platter for two was delicious and good value for money. Lovely wine and great cake for dessert. You see a lot of the locals coming to buy cake so that is always a good sign.
