This place has a nice menu and plenty of tables inside and out. There was lots of choice of pasta with sauce, baked pasta and gnocchi and it is good value. However there were a number of reasons why this is merely average rather than good. There was a TV on the wall which I think is death in a... More

This is a great little restaurant in the old town with an Italian menu which is different to 95% of the rest of the street eateries in the old town. Despite the rather hackneyed name, the food was really good. The seats are poor and its in a dark narrow alleyway but these were minor details. There are a couple... More

While in the old city, we were looking for a restaurant that would satisfy our hunger, be cost effective, make homemade pasta and deliver good service. Spaghetteria Toni filled the bill on all accounts. Located off a side street away from the crowds in the Old City, the menu offered a great selection of homemade pastas. We chose the bolognese... first of all, we could not find this place although we saw signs for it and then suddenly we can across it and it was good pasta - the staff were friendly enough and the food was good

The food was okay, not the best pasta I've have - the seafood in my pasta was overcooked but otherwise - just okay. A disappointment especially compare to the great food you can get across Dubrovnik. What made our experience so negative was the service, which I can never understand as good service doesn't cost them any extra! We waited... More

We had lunch here today and thought the food was ok. I had the "dirty" gnocchi Dubrovnik style which was surprisingly good homemade gnocchi with a meaty gravy with hints of cinnamon. The gravy was odd and certainly not authentic Italian but was hearty and satisfying on a cold and rainy October afternoon. My boyfriend had the lasagne which tasty... More

We not only had a great meal here we had a great time here. The Lasagna was raved about for days by my three fellow travelers. I had the Ravioli and was also very happy with my choice. Great house wine and excellent, friendly service. The price is good as well.

Having visited a number of restaurants in the Dubrovnik area, my partner and I decided to try one of the cheaper options and chose Toni, whose motto is 'the first spaghetteria in Dubrovnik'. Saying that we regretted it is probably the understatement of the century... This place is a disgrace to Italian cuisine all round. The food was atrocious -... More

In the Old City, it's hard to decide which place is going to be good food and which is just a tourist trap. My AirBNB host recommended Toni's because his brother owns it, so my friend and I gave it a try because it was the only place we knew someone local at. We were completely happy with the experience... Just returned from Spaghetteria Toni. Out of interest, I thought I'd check what had been written on Trip Advisor. After seeing the last review, I felt compelled to take time to say, we both enjoyed our meals so much that we'll be returning later in the week. I had the the Pappardelle with prawns and pistachio pesto, my wife the... More
