A little disappointing

We had been given the name of this restaurant by our taxi driver and was two mins walk on the promenade from The Royal Princess. we arrived at 8 oclock for our meal. The staff were lovely to deal with, so so pleasant. The waiting for our food however [ I believe everything is freshly cooked] took... read more

Fabulous food and location, our waiter Thomas was knowledgeable and couldn't do to much for us, excellent fish.... On the coastal walk between the Valamar Hotels and Lapad.

We ate dinner here whilst watching the sunset. Very romantic setting. A lovely outside terrace with great views. We ate fish and seafood for starter and main course and it was all very nice. We enjoyed the wine that we chose following our waiters recommendation. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and attentive. Would definitely go back!

This is a mid price restaurant, and six of us called in for lunch and were not disappointed. The food was mainly salads and sandwiches but good value and generous servings. The outside terrace is a very pleasant place for a lazy lunch in the sunshine. It would also be a good choice for an evening meal or drink to... More

Like the last reviewer, I fail to understand other recent comments - this is a 'grown-ups' restaurant, not a place to take children and it is unsurprising that those parents who did so failed to enjoy their visit. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed octopus and mixed salads, mussels au gratin, the grilled prawns also crepes with lemon juice and... More

This is a lovely location on the waterfront promenade walk along Lapad Bay, and is particularly convenient for anyone staying in the hotels in that area. The outdoor terrace is built into the rocky cliff, affording an amazing view straight over the azure blue clear water and the outer islands for a romantic sunset. We are surprised at these recent... I should have read up on restaurants in this area. We went with a cab and under his idea to visit the restaurant for sunset. While the sunset did not disappoint, there are other places to eat in the area that must have the same view and better food and service. It is an expensive so no real reason to... More

As with every diner, one cannot help but compare against what they would pay back home. In this instance, being from London, one of the most expensive places on earth, this restaurant would sit well among the London price range...like Hawksmoor or the Gaucho Grill....apart from the fact that Lapad is not London and the average wage for a Croatian... Grilled fish was fresh and good according to my husband but for price 480 per kg would not expect less, I had fried squid and it was ok too. Would not recommend chicken, looked and tasted like a cardboard, grilled prawns were substandard too. Will not be coming back! If you have kids avoid unless you go for a soft... More

Nice enough restaurant, but food was a disappointment. Not much on menu for kids and everything was quite expensive. Would try elsewhere.....
