We had about 30 minutes until we had to meet up with our tour guide, so we sat at one of the outdoor tables that looked out on the square. We ordered the Salata Placa and Spaghetti along with a couple of espressos. The salad was excellent; a delightful combination of lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, corn, sour cream and olives. The... The food is good, large quantities so order with intentions of sharing and trying different dishes. We had 2 risotto dishes between 2 of us and it was hard to finish. Would probably ordered some mussels, instead of 2 risotto dishes. Oysters were skinny, maybe they are this way? , but tasty. The octopus salad was more tomatoes than octopus... More

My mother and I visited Kamenice at the beginning of September. It was pouring down and the staff did everything they could to make sure everyone could keep dry. There was a great atmosphere and buzz in the restaurant. Yes, the menu is very limited but both our dishes were delicious and plentiful. We recommend the black risotto and the... More

Dined here with spouse and shared the fried squid plate. Ample amount of food for two. Add a salad and you're all set. Lovely location right on the square off Stradun. Romantic at night!

We had a really nice relaxing lunch here on a local recommendation. It’s easy to find as it’s very central and popular with distinctive blue and white striped chairs. Portions were huge, especially of the fried calamari. We also tried the black risotto which was more like a more solid paella rice than a soft risotto rice, but that may... More

The receptionist at our hostel recommended this restaurant & it did not disappoint. I can see why its popular with locals & tourists alike. Simple, fresh fish & it's delicious. The menu is small but perfectly formed and is a must for fish lovers! We ate the mussels bouzzara, scampi bouzzara (shrimps), chips, bread & octopus salad (not in the... More

I loved this place. The square is a lovely place to eat and the waitresses/waiters were friendly. The food is high quality. Highly recommend.

So after many summers in Dubrovnik, we decided to be patient and wait for a table at Kamenice, in one of the Old Town's squares. There's often a queue, but it can move quite quickly. It's a popular place, and quite rightly -- simple, fresh food, a limited choice, but what is done is done well, and service is friendly... More

My wife and I visited this restaurant at the end of September on the recommendation of locals and we were not thrilled about it. I ate the small fish(gerice) which was good, but my wife wasn't satisfied with squids that were pretty tasteless. By the way the service was very slow.

Maybe we chose badly, limited menu. Mussels chewy and the worst my husbands had in many years. Scampi was ok and tuna salad ok. Platters of risotto and calamari look good. White wine by the carafe was not to my liking and we left it.
