Went to Villa Ruza on our Honeymoon trip in September 2012. Wow ! What a place. Easily accessible from Dubrovnik, this island is really beautiful. The restaurant is perfectly located, with a nice view of the Adriatic. Service is very good, as people are really trying to make you have an amazing experience. We were able to chose our lobster... We stayed on the island for a few days and had a wonderful time. The island is quiet and beautiful. This restaurant is an absolute must for anyone visiting the island. It is so lovely, the food is wonderful and the views and atmosphere is unforgettable. We came here again and again to eat or just to enjoy a cocktail... More

Villa Ruza is one of the best restaurants we visited. We were staying in Dubrovnik so visited Kolocep for the day mainly to visit this restaurant based on trip advisor reviews and it didn't let us down. The waiters were very friendly, advised what to have, we had a whole fresh fish and showed is the fish cooking on the... More

Last day of your stay in Dubrovnik we decided to visit Elaphiti islands. Since it was Sunday and no ferries which we could use we decided to contact the restaurant and ask them for help regarding transfer. They organized for us private transfer with speed boat, even it is expensive it was perfect touch of our romantic dinner! I asked... More

We live in Florida and went to Croatia for our Honeymoon this year. Our time at Villa Ruza was our most memorable dates! It starts with the outside, we arrived by boat and the sunset there is the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen. The ambiance in this restaurant is very relaxed, and yet elegant with while draperies and... More

Lovely setting & ambience. Food very good and nicely presented. We had 2 glasses of prosecco, a bottle of house white, pâté & bread for starters, another starter each & a main course each & 1 dessert & coffee. Came to around 850 Kunas, which is about £100. Valentino was our waiter & he was lovely and was the best... More

We had organised a trip to Dubrovnik for 15 of us to celebrate a significant birthday and dinner at Villa Ruza was the centrepiece event. The elegance started at the quayside as our motor launches welcomed us and sped us away from the crowds and chaos of the mainland to the charming island of Kolocep. We were welcomed there and... This restaurant is very nice and the staff were very friendly. My only gripe would be the wine we had nearly double the cost of the hotel which we thought was expensive. The waiter reccomended the wine which was 280 kuna (£30) when it arrived it was the same as the we had had in the Kolocep villa restaurant only... More

We esaped the ridiculously crowded streets and retaurants of Dubrovnik by taking the 30 min ferry to Kolocep for a late lunch at Villa Ruza. We were so pleased! We strolled up to the oceanfront restaurant on the quiet and peaceful island and were immediately made to feel special. Our waiter Valentino was very friendly and welcoming and helped to... More

My review title says it all. While on a week long sailing trip, we anchored nearby and took our dinghy over to Villa Ruza. The restaurant is beautiful. A bit of advice, a reservation is needed for a nice table (this was a Saturday night so perhaps not the case the rest of the week), so we were seated at... More
