After a few evenings over there, enjoining good wine it became my favorite place for morning coffees also. Nice and polite staff, good music and tasteful drinks. My recommendation!

It is based right behind the Croatian National Theater,150m away from popular 'Riva'. There menu is focused on wine and cheese. There are around 15 cheeses and 90 wines, mostly Croatian. I will not talk a lot about this, be sure to experience on your own, everyone leaves satisfied and coming back again. Waiters are professional, fast, fun and friendly. enjoy!

I knew I wanted to try this place while in Split. I mean, they focus solely on wine and cheese. Could it get any better? My intention was to stop by between sightseeing and grab a proper dinner later elsewhere....but I was so full from the delicious cheese plate (a trio of local cheeses served with hams, dried fruit, and... The Wine & Cheese Paradox was on our list of places to try in Croatia based on reviews and we weren't disappointed- in fact I think it was one of the best meals of our whole trip throughout Europe (and it was our 1st night away!) We shook off our jet lag with a beautiful glass of Croatian red wine,... More

We visited this place on two occasions as it was so excellent on our first visit. The selection of wine is superb, the menu is well designed and pushes you to try new wines. The staff are quite helpful and give you a good summary of the history of the wine along with taste notes when they're serving you. The... More

My girlfriend and I managed to book Paradox when we were in Croatia last month. We did so given the fantastic reviews we saw on TA. We were not disappointed. The waiter was incredibly attentive (especially given his large remit on the evening). I really enjoyed hearing the knowledge and passion for the wines and snacks that came through in... More

I skipped dessert in a restaurant with the intention of having some cheese in Paradox. I was not disappointed. I have even transformed my boyfriend into a wine and cheese man which he never was before. We got two glasses of white wine the Posip and a Sauvignon Blanc. We both absolutely adored the sauvignon! We got a Croatian cheese... More
