We went to Paradox on recommendation from our hotel and some guests staying at our hotel who had been the previous evening. We had brilliant wine and tasty cheese and meats and all in a nice and calm setting watching the world go by.

We popped in for a quick light bite and weren't disappointed. The wine and cheese selection is excellent, as you'd expect but what made the experience special was the knowledgable waiter, who gave a nice little introduction to our food and drink choices and the accompaniments which really complimented the cheeses. Great value too. Not the easiest place to find... More

Saw this on Trip Advisor and decided to visit. Took us a while to find it but was worth it. Barman was really helpful and we had some delicious cheeses and wine.

We were looking for a good coffee and afternoon light meal after a day out on the water. Very disappointed with the coffee. Luke warm originally (tepid) and then the waiter was less than accommodating when we asked for it to be served a bit hotter. Food (a couple of share plates of local cheeses, meats and nuts etc) were... More

We came here for pre dinner drinks and we weren't disappointed! We're always wanting to try the local produce and Paradox offered a huge selection of local wines and cheeses which were knowledgeably recommended to us by the waitstaff. It's a great little place to share a glass or 2 of wine, especially if you can get a seat on... More

We had looked for this bar for days and stumbled upon it after giving up, it was worth the effort believe me. The best white wine I had all week in Croatia- staff recommended one after asking what I liked and I admit it was perfect.

Paradox has over 40 wines by the glass, and our server gave us great recommendations to try. The 3-cheese plate was nice to share before dinner and generously portioned. We arrived early (6pm or so), though it seems like the place fills up during busy periods (like August) so consider reserving a table if you'd like to visit during peak... More

Lovely place to spend an hour with a couple of glasses of wine and cheese selection. Best place in split? No, but nice all the same.
