This place was recommended to us by the owner of D'vino wine bar in Dubrovnik. We visited here and enjoyed the cheese, jam and olive pairings with the local wines. Excellent choice, is located in the old city of Split. Don't miss this. On a side note, they had a great display of wine corks in the front counter.

I loved this place... and it all started with the staff who guided us to a great selection of cheese and wines. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and gave us great suggestions of local cheeses and wines to try are not widely known in America and that I imagine we would not have stumbled upon by ourselves. If you are... More

It was fabulous. This was not our first visit to this restaurant, but this was the best visit. Trilogy of cheese from three different countries together with red Croatian wine made the evening perfect. Sitting inside was a better choice.

We visited on a quiet Friday night in November. We were the only customers in the bar... However the service, food and wine were amazing.. We actually felt lucky for it to be that way. You could only imagine this place in summer... We will return to check it out! Make sure you try the Paradox trilogy (cheese platter), with... More

A good wine list (I am not a wine expert but I know a modest amount about wine) but the real attraction is the excellent menu of cheeses, jams, and other goodies to accompany the glasses. EXCELLENT, well-informed service. Charming atmosphere. We sat outside on a gorgeous evening.

We stayed at Magnolia luxury apartments for 4 nights in August 2014 and was recommended to go to Paradox. What a fantastic place to go to if you are interested in and love wine! We went there every single night and was amazed every night by our wine waiter who introduced us to excellent Croatian wines: every night different, red,... More

A very good wine bar with so much choice there has to be a bad wine, although we had our list, provided earlier, from Konoba Marijan, so we didn't find one! We didn't eat there but the cheese boards looked fine but nothing spectacular. Not sure why it has such a high ranking?
