What a combination!

We happened to find this establishment while walking the streets of Split, and what a happy coincidence! The combination of sparkling wine and cheese we were offered was definitely the best I've ever had. The waiter was very knowledgable about both the wine and the cheese, and he even went out to... read more

We just came back from this wine and cheese bar. We had high hopes, because of all good reviews in TA. Unfortunately we were disappointed quite badly. They have a wide selection of wines (140 or so), that is true, but when we decided to take "paradox" cheese plate and asked for a recommendation for the local wine for it,... More

Had an unique experience and a great wine tasting here, with lots of top wines from Croatia and from all over the world. Very reasonable prices and a good selection of nice wines by the glass. Top service and great atmosphere.

The service was great. Our server was knowledgeable of the different wines and had personal recommendations. It is decorated very well and has a nice ambiance. Paradox has an outdoor and indoor seating area.

Great place to be after a work day or a Saturday night with friends. Although a little bit expensive, Paradox is certainly one of the best wine bars recently open in Split, and very well located, just behind the Theater and near a big parking space.

Of course they offer a large range of good wines and cheese. But they served us half of the 12 cl of wine described on the wine list because we were tourists. They told us the cheese of pag was pasteurized (my girlfriend is pregnant) whereas it is not Croatian told us. The waiter was very arrogant moreover. That bar... More

Dear Charly, Very shocking review! Paški sir that we serve from the Diary of Gligora is made from pasteurized milk! It can be checked with the producers themselves. They do produce small quantities of Paški cheese from unpasteurized milk but we clearly state that on the menu when we feature that cheese on our list. All servings are always equal,... More

Ended up there two evenings in a row, staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, making great wine selections! I recommend asking them to select for you! Cheese and charcuterie, along with fresh house made bread was delicious!

They have a fairly large menu of wines by the glass, they do cost a bit more than some wine else where. They have various cheeses to select from Croatian to french. The bread that came with our cheese was excellent.
