Food was not fresh. Ordered a bottle of wine which we thought we were getting their own mix, when we received the bill we found she bought out the $ 60.00 bottle which we did not order, and there was nothing we could do about it....

Don't waist your time and money here. The Bolognese had very little meat and was without Parmesan. The shrimp stew with green pasta tasted little and was served with regular spagetti. One was served 5 min before the rest of us.

Our experience was one of total frustration. We were approached by a young woman who asked if we would be interested in dinner and showed us a menu. It seemed alright so we decided to go. Before we proceeded I asked if they took credit cards. She assured me that they did . Once we reached the restaurant I again... More

We were visiting the Spilt for a couple of weeks and some of the locals recommended the San Giovanni. We went there and I am glad we did. The ambiance was comfortable and unpretentious plus the wait staff was very friendly. The food was delicious and affordable. My personal favorite was Calamari which was very tasty, fresh and done to the... More

Our visit to this restaurant was the worst meal we had during our 5 day visit to Split. Prior to this our eating experience had been excellent. My husband's meat on a skewer was inedible to say the least. The beef was tough, pork was awash with oil and they forgot the chicken. My fish, in fact was quite nice... More

One of my favorite places to have a drink and enjoy in the evenings. The staff is really friendly and they do a great job, prices are really affordable and the location is great.

Really good food, my beefsteak with french fries was excellent . My partner was eating fish on grill with swiss chard. It was all very tasty.

When you are visiting a restaurant along the Dalmatian Coast, the last thing you expect to find is the best hamburger you have ever eaten. Usually, when traveling I make a point of trying the local cuisine but the day I was in Split I was in the mood for something American. When I spotted the hamburger on the menu... More

We stopped with 8 friends.. service was terribly slow and food was below average (salad, pastas and fish). At the end, we were charged an average of 120 kuna per person for a dish and a drink...bread is charged... i do not recommend this place!
