I went here when it was still called the Black Cat, before they changed their name (and menu). Was travelling solo around Europe, and this was one of the nicest restaurants I visited. Not only was the food amazing, lots of fresh fish, but the staff were amazing. Told me lots of things to do in the region and gave... More

Being an American who has lived in Texas and Arizona, I have been dying for some good Mexican cuisine since I moved to Croatia 5 years ago. Bistro Toć was a nice surprise and quite clever in their interpretation of Mexican cuisine. I had a Salmon Wrap with a Nacho starter. The Nachos had great salsa, guacamole and herbed sour... More

We stopped in on a whim one Sunday afternoon and were in shock of how delicious the food was! Order the nachos as an appetizer and Tortilla Rancheros as your meal...you will love it! Before and after photos of the rancheros:

Was here 5 years ago, then it was called black cat. Now it has another name but same menu. Tasty and big portions as last time, nothing to regret.

Good parts: Attentive service and charming little terrace. Very fresh and rich salads. Bad parts: Their 'Mexican' dishes. Extremely bland. Prepared by someone who very obviously never tried the real thing.

This restaurant was recommended by desk at Hotel Luxe. Neither my wife nor I enjoyed our meals. She ordered a seafood risotto which was too heavy with mussels. I order tuna steak with came over cooked and had a unpleasant taste. The vegetables were also off, overlooked and oily.

We had a Dalmatian Pasticada with Gnocci and the menu of the day which was meatballs with rice. The Pasticada was delicious, the meatballs disappointed a bit and the rice was overcooked. Service was really friendly and efficient. Great for a quick lunch and much less touristy than around the corner in the old town.

I dined here with my partner in early October 2015. We were staying in a nearby apartment & our host gave us a 10% discount voucher. We both ordered soup which was delicious, & my partner had fish for a main & I had pork. We both really enjoyed our meals & even without the voucher felt it was good... More

We absolutely loved this place! During a weeks stay we ate here maybe 5-6 times and were never disappointed. Lovely little garden outside and very helpful staff. Food is as it should be - nothing too fancy but really delicious, genuine tastes. Absolutely recommendable.
