We managed to get a table for two at this small, family run restaurant. The atmosphere was bustling and the service amazing, nothing was ever too much trouble. The fish was very fresh and the wine pleasant and plentiful. I highly recommend visiting Konoba Marjan to eat their delicious, fresh fish and experience the marvellous service. The service is outstanding.... More

Amazing! Small family owned restaurant serving fresh fish... The mix fish dish was more than enough for two... Shrimp, mussels, sea beam, tuna and hake. The mixed veggies that come with the dish were also delicious. Friendly service and locals... Definitely add it to your must visit spots when in Split.

A restaurant which specialises in seafood, and doesn't disappoint! Rustic and POPULAR so make sure you book. They seem to endlessly turn people away, although a couple did get lucky with a no show, though that was due to the weather, torrential rain. They eventually turned up 50 mins late and the couple had waited 30 mins before he gave... More

It's a small place with charm. We were off season and towards the end of service so there was a limited menu. We had grilled sea bass with roasted vegetables and potatoes. The waiter (owner?) spent some time with us on the wines and the white we ended up with paired perfectly. Everything was perfect: the ambiance, food and service.

We were the only guests, the fish was awesome. We ate a starter and a grilled fish, everything was perfect. Waiters were quick and very kind. Price ok

Fantastic service and even better seafood! Get the mixed platter for two; the scampi in garlic and white wine sauce is also divine...and book ahead as it is tiny

A nice homely ambience, the smell of sea food and the gracious hosts welcome you as soon as you enter. They show you the catch of the day and the main fish attractions on the menu, all served on this huge platter. The guy explains each one of the fish, how they are cooked, served and how they taste. I... More

What a fantastic Konobo. Most definitely the best eating out experience we had in Croatia. Having visited makarska and dubrovnik over 12 days we dined in many places. Some were not so good, some were great but nothing came close to Konobo Marjan. Hidden just off the esplanade it was its excellent reviews that took us there. It more than... More
