Excellent fresh fish on an atmospheric old street in Split

My husband and I shared a sea bream, first we have ever had. Quite delicious, especially with the grilled veggies and octopus salad that we ordered. Knowledgeable servers and excellent wine list.

The reviews did this little gem justice! It was fantastic. We had the cheese plate with their homemade jam, we are from Wisconsin and love our cheese and the local variety here was wonderful! We also had the carrot and shrimp soup which I highly recommend. My husband and I had the fish for two and my sister had the... More

Simply outstanding fresh and well prepared food. Small place (30 guest max) - nice and friendly service - fair prices. Probably the best fishdishes we had in Split.

Konoba Marjan is expert at cooking fish. My husband and I shared a sea bass and it was cooked perfectly. The vegetables that came with the meal were very underwhelming. We also ordered a side of black risotto with cuttle fish, which was good, but we were left wishing for more originality in the menu and a better variety and... More

Dear Michelle I am sorry to hear that we did not live up to your expectations. As I mentioned for numerous times we are a small traditional family restaurant that servers simple traditional dishes and freshest seafood one can get from the nearby fish market. After your words of praise for the perfectly cooked fish, good risotto, excellent wine advice... More

Lovely little spot, emphasis being on little—probably seats 15, so reservations are a must. Like the other good restaurants in Split, just let them create the mixed seafood platter that they suggest and you won't be disappointed.

This unpretentious little restaurant is tucked away, but worth searching out if you love fish. It is very small, so booking is advised; very simply furnished and decorated, because all the attention is concentrated on the fish. A tray of the best available in the fish market is shown to you and the various types described to you - you... More

The fresh catch of the day was shown and explained to us, before choosing from the menu. We selected the fish plate for two, with a mix of different fish and gamba's. The food was prepared very well and tasted delicious.
