This restaurant is one of my favorites in the town! The food is delicious and staff is charming and very welcome. Its a kind of a restaurant that makes you feel like home. I would reccomend to take any dish with truffles cuz it taste incredible and mix it with some good croatian wine!

This is a very good Konoba indeed. The shellfish buzara with homemade macaroni was spectacular and I've had this a lot In Croatia, this is one of the best. Nice waiter, incredibly polite and helpful - even opened a bottle of wine that's not sold by the glass to sell me one by the glass. Great food, if you want... More

We wanted to celebrate our anniversary at a special restaurant in Split and the place we were staying recommended Konoba Nevera. They were certainly correct. We went with the waiter's suggestions and he was spot on. It was a wonderful dinner and we tried some dishes we have not experienced before. The restaurant was full and there was only one... More

Just returned from our first visit to Croatia (we will be back). Stayed at an apartment in Split and the owner suggested we go to Nevera which was a short walk from our building. The first night was so good we went back again. The steak tartar was probably the best we have EVER had. The service for both nights... More

Recommended by our host as a traditional Dalmatian restaurant, my husband and I were pleased with the quality of fish and service. The menu is extensive and reasonably priced for seafood, and we opted to splurge and get their fish special of the day. With wine, a shared starter (shrimp homemade macaroni), grilled veggies and 1.5 grilled fish (two different... More

Charming atmosphere with very courteous staff. We followed the kind suggestions from our waiter and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was busy on a Saturday night but our dishes still arrived in a timely manner. Among the patrons even a young Croatian Olympic medalist could be found :) Will come here again!

We also visited this place twice on our week hols as the food, service and price were incredible. There is one waiter 'Jacob' (pronounced slightly differently in Croatian!) who is incredibly helpful with recommendations, as he has tried all the dishes and is truly passionate about the menu and has such high regard for the chef! We had homemade pasta... More

This traditional Dalmatian restaurant is a cute, quiet place to dine, a short walk from Split's city centre (across from Bacvice Beach). Previous reviews had suggested trying the steak - so we did, twice! And it was possibly the nicest, juiciest piece of rump steak, we'd ever eaten. The prices are very reasonable too (around £9 for our steak) and... More
