Just returned from our first visit to Croatia (we will be back). Stayed at an apartment in Split and the owner suggested we go to Nevera which was a short walk from our building. The first night was so good we went back again. The steak tartar was probably the best we have EVER had. The service for both nights... More

Recommended by our host as a traditional Dalmatian restaurant, my husband and I were pleased with the quality of fish and service. The menu is extensive and reasonably priced for seafood, and we opted to splurge and get their fish special of the day. With wine, a shared starter (shrimp homemade macaroni), grilled veggies and 1.5 grilled fish (two different... More

Charming atmosphere with very courteous staff. We followed the kind suggestions from our waiter and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was busy on a Saturday night but our dishes still arrived in a timely manner. Among the patrons even a young Croatian Olympic medalist could be found :) Will come here again!

We also visited this place twice on our week hols as the food, service and price were incredible. There is one waiter 'Jacob' (pronounced slightly differently in Croatian!) who is incredibly helpful with recommendations, as he has tried all the dishes and is truly passionate about the menu and has such high regard for the chef! We had homemade pasta... More

This traditional Dalmatian restaurant is a cute, quiet place to dine, a short walk from Split's city centre (across from Bacvice Beach). Previous reviews had suggested trying the steak - so we did, twice! And it was possibly the nicest, juiciest piece of rump steak, we'd ever eaten. The prices are very reasonable too (around £9 for our steak) and... More

We came after reading other positive reviews and as it was in the area we were staying. The prices were very reasonable as it was outside of the town centre (though not far), and the food was very good. The waiter had several recommendations which looked great but were a bit out of our budget, but there was no shortage... More

I wen to this restaurant 2 times. First time we had Dalmatian Pašticada and Grilled Veal. Veal was horrible, dry and not really good. I left dissapointed. I met a few friends who have been there and they told me to try the seafood or local stuff and skip the grill. next time we ordered "korculanski makaruni" and "black squid... More
