Truly a great experience in Split, lucky enough an elderly Croatian gentlemen pointed me in the direction of Trattoria Bajamount. Small and full of charm this beautiful little hole in the wall had much more to offer then I ever expected. Amazing food and drink with fantastic service, I felt like family the second night I had dinner there. (Had... More

Service not too friendly, tables weren't comfortable, neither clean and overcrowded. We took a meat plate for 2, but the quality was dissapointing and few vegetables. Specially for this price you expect a lot more! Maybe the fishplates are better but by us not recommended!

Very nice little restaurant in the alley way. The seafood was very fresh and the service was very good. However if you are looking for fine cuisine there are probably some better options. We had the seafood platter for 2, that could have served 3 ( you won't go hungry), very fresh and varied platter. Our companion had the scampi... More

Lovely little restaurant down one of the many alleys within the palace complex. Myself and my wife visited twice, on both occasions service was fast and efficient and the food was good for the price. You do have people strolling by you all the time that you're eating but we quite enjoyed people watching so we didn't mind. It does... More

No other place in split was so welcoming and charming as Trattoria, great service, food & drink was fresh. Home to the most beautiful croatian women who even took care of me whilst I was experienced shocking wisdom tooth pain, afterwhich giving me a free meal and not letting me pay. Will miss this place!

This place is situated in an alley right in the middle of the old palace area. Our hotel owner recommended it to us. I got the fish brodetto and polenta. It was delicious and a very generous portion. The prices were a little high, but the food was worth it. The server was friendly and helpful when we asked our... More

There are very aggressive salesmen barking at you down each alleyway with a cafe or restaurant. This one caught our eye because he was actually "nice"...still aggressive but nice. The food was very good too but because the "salesman" was so good at his job they got busy quick and the service suffered. We were tired and thankful for the... More

The place looks nice located in a small alley close to the main square of Split. The food as such is OK but the service is really disappointing! From the very beginning you get the impression that the staff only consider you as a wallet from which their task is to get as much as possible. Instead of taking your... More

The service was slow, wrong and arrogant. Wine was served warm in warm glasses straight from the dish washer. This is not what you would expect from a place with this rating. A tourist trap.
