By far our worst meal in Croatia. Sea bass very disappointing, described as cooked with olives (it came with ONE, that added nothing to the dish); the fish was overcooked and didn't taste the freshest, served with the dullest boiled potatoes and a huge pile of greens, all in a watery sauce (or probably just the water from the greens).... Try the sea bass, sea bream or mackerel here - inexpensive, simple and excellently cooked whole fishes! The other dishes are ok but not as good to me. Seafood pasta for instance is tasty but not as elegant with its canned seafood instead of fresh. Service is good. Only a few seats outside but inside is well ventilated so no... More

We stumbled upon this little gem because the restaurant we were going to was booked. Absolutely loved the atmosphere, its so vibrant. The service was excellent and the food "to die for". Cannot wait to go back, I love this place!

We ate here on the recommendation of the agency we rented our apartment through. He was so enthusiastic about it we thought he must be on commission, but it was just as good as he'd said. We had a beef and pasta dish, and beautifully fresh fish, both of which were very tasty and generous portions. We had hoped to... More

We chose to eat here after hearing the mussels were fantastic - they were not. The food was average at best, we ate it because we were hungry. The seafood pasta did not taste fresh and the chicken was more bone than chicken. The service was fine. Was probably the most disappointing meal we had in our 3 weeks in... More

Great meal and service. Delicious local dishes. Very convenient to the Riva. Lovely evening. They were sold out for outdoor seating so we ended up inside which was lovely. A nice room and cool (a/c)

The host is what makes this restaurant unique. Very friendly waiter with great recommendations and advices. The food was great - lamb soup is and absolute must. Coming back for sure!

Four of us had a meal here at about 9pm - place was about 80% full so service and timing of order and meals was good - typical Croatian menu - no stand outs - we all enjoyed our mains and the house white wine

Comparing to other local Croatian restaurants in the area, Sperun is a restaurant with very comfortable indoor dining room to enjoy your dinner. Good decor, spaceful with table cloth. We had grilled sea bass, squid and vegetables for two people. The seafood was very fresh. The vegetables were crispy. The fish just cooked right and still a litte bit pink... More
