Good restaurant

We wanted to dine in two other restaurants but they were fully booked for the whole evening so we decided to give Sperun a try. Restaurant is very cozy with nice food. We had some very simple salad to start with. It was very well seasoned and tasty. For mains we had mussels which were a bit chevy... read more

This is a great little local Split restaurant. We were lucky to snare a table that had just been cleared with only a short wait at the door. There is a lot of character or maybe characters but it is a fun atmosphere. We had the sardine/tomato bruschetta, a tortellini Bolognese, and a sautéed whole sea bass with greens and... More

Finding that a lot of the restaurants here close over the off season, we stumbled by chance after walking past and seeing the lively atmosphere inside. Looking at the menu we had a good feeling already. We ordered the brudet and the famous skampi na buzaru with some bread and a Coke. First the brudet was tasty with plenty of... More

We met a couple who recommended this restaurant as it was only a short walk from our apartment. We first went to try it on a Saturday night but it was fully booked. The following night we went back and the waiter remembered us. It is quite a petite restaurant with a small annex attached down a couple of steps.... More

I ate lunch here twice as Sperun is known for fresh fish and traditional dishes. The Dalmatian fish soup (stew) was filling and delicious. Another time I had a baked white fish with a tasty tomato sauce and simple boiled vegetables. The local wines were fine and service was efficient and friendly. Good wifi.

We had great service and a wonderful meal at this quaint and charmining, multi-terraced restaurant. At the end of the meal, our waiter brought us each an after-dinner liquer and said, "My restaurant, my city, my country. You must enjoy this liquer after such a meal."

I kept walking past this restaurant and thought I must try it one evening, and so I popped in for a meal on Sunday evening. You certainly couldn't complain about the staff who were very friendly and attentive. I ordered the spaghetti with seafood and a salad on the side. It took about 2 minutes from ordering to the food... More

We had a great dinner here. Wait staff extremely friendly and helpful. We ate local seafood dishes which were delicious (including scampi risotto). Atmosphere here is also very relaxed and casual.

Loved our dinner of Croatian specialties here, everything from sea bass (whole) to scampi risotto. Suggest taking waiter's suggestions as they turned out to be very good. Cozy atmosphere on little side street outside the Palace. Would definitely eat here again.

Had brunette to start and seafood risotto. Service was great, wine and beer good. Excellent value for money. Food wasn't outstanding but was good. Value super. Would recommend.
