We have eaten here before on previous trips to Split and had excellent food. This time the experience was disappointing. Admittedly the restaurant was very busy, but the service and food were not what we had had previously. Overcooked spaghetti, ordinary seafood and rushed service left us disappointed.

We came across this place by chance. Interior was cozy and homely. Service was casual but our server was on to it. Food was pretty good - a 7.9/10. Price was standard. It's a pity there were so many tourists eating there as well, but it goes to show that this resturant is doing something right.

I visited this plase after 11 years and is still great. Real Dalmatian food as it always was. Fresh fish from local fish-market, great suggestion by friendly waiter, prices are value for money and I will be back again... soon...

I came here two nights in a row as I had to sample more dishes here. Very friendly atmosphere and the food was A Grade!!! I tried the Bakala one night and the Brujet the other (Dalmatian seafood dishes) and was very impressed!! Just like my mother makes... Yet better ;)These two dishes are essential if you want to sample... More

We had several restaurants on our list in this quaint section of Split at the foot of Marjan Hill, and wanted to eat at Matejuska but they were fully booked for each of the two nights we were there (very small restaurant), so we walked around the corner to Buffet Sperun and immediately got a table. Fast and jovial service,... More

We stumbled across Sperun Deva after an early evening stroll discovering the old city of Split. The restaurant is just outside the old city in a quieter side street, and looked very inviting with its attractive outdoor settings along the footpath. Service was friendly and efficient, and the waiter had time to discuss the menu as the tables quickly filled... More

A nice place but always very busy and when we did get in the volume of other diners was tough to bear due to a cruise ship filling it up. Service was fast, efficient and friendly but the portions quite small compared to elsewhere. I had lasagne and would have got a starter too if I knew how small it... More
