We contemplated leaving before we had ordered and I desperately wished we had. My friend had to stand up and fetch a menu because the waiter took so long to fetch them for us. He then took his sweet time to take our orders. We stayed in the hope the food would be good, this was not the case. All... More

Sat outside for a couple of drinks with some bread and olives on our first evening in Split. The staff weren't too keen on us coming in for just a drink. Four drinks, olives and bread came to less than 75kn. Bargain!

Really didn't enjoy our visit. We had some really loud Americans sitting on the same table as us. The starters were nice (bread with tomato and cheese and ham, cheese and dandelions) but the main courses were horrible (squid and meat tortellini). They tasted terrible and we left most of them. They made us I'll for the rest of the... More

Loved the service, loved the food, and sat at one of the tables outside. The fried calamari was the best we've ever had.....highly recommend sharing it as an appetizer with a bottle of local white wine. My waiter recommended the lamb stew, and it was delicious( for those of you that like lamb and want to experience a local dish)... More

We ate here with friends on a beautiful evening. The host at our Apartments made a 7pm reservation for us; we were there at 7 and were promptly seated at one of the few outside tables (on the sidewalk - not the most scenic of locations, but it was nice to be outside). The chairs at the outside tables are... More

This is but off-centre - but only at the far end of the promenade and up into a side street, but well worth hunting down. Some seating on the pavement, but we would suggest going inside - the back room is air-conditioned. Lots of atmosphere. Food is plain but excellent and with an emphasis on fish (highly recommended) with perhaps... More

Well served food. I recommend the fish. Well prepared. Fair price. Good location close to the city center.

These guys have two restaurants opposite each other. This one is the one which is not on the corner, and has just a few tables on the pavement outside. It was busy every time we went past, and with good reason. Seriously cheap, and very good food too. Mussels are decent.

Our waiter was fantastic and made the whole experience all the more enjoyable. He found us a seat out the front of what appears to be a very popular restaurant. It was always full and people very walking away disappointed they couldn't get in, but they were trying to accommodate everyone and asked if they waited outside at the bar... More
