Our small family restaurant is run by Father & Chef, preparing dishes that are passed on by his mother and grandmother. Our family lives in this neigborhood for more than 300 years. Blessed by the heavenly Adriatic, seafood is mainly our thing. As we depend on the weather working with fish, daily menu is flexible. Vegetables are bought on the bazaar behind the palace & the fish-market is 100m away. Even our wine & olive oil is made by local family producers. Enjoy traditional Dalmatian dishes in friendly atmosphere.. Welcome foodies!

Absolutely outstanding

This is definitely one of the best small restaurants in Split. The food is excellent, always fresh, tasteful and traditional Dalmatian! Although the meals are top quality, the restaurant is not expensive!

We had an amazing dinner. Fresh sea bass was great. We ordered grilled vegetables to complement the fish and we were not disappointed. Our waiter was helpful. He suggested home made deserts and they were wow! Good choice, but don't forget to book a table in advance.

The tavern is tiny and on Saturday it fills up with locals who have booked, and even ordered, ahead. We got lucky and snagged the only little table that was not reserved. The décor and atmosphere is charming and cozy, a perfect setting to enjoy a typical Croatian meal. The waiter brings out a platter of the fresh fish of... More

Small, warm atmosphere. I walked in on my second night in town and there were no tables (good sign). Kindly, a gentleman sitting alone said he was finished and moved w his glass of wine to the small bar to allow me his table. I didn't order off the menu, instead allowing the waiter to suggest what he thought for... More

they have not much to offer on the night we visited. Only sea bass and tuna, no small fish which is more tasteful. We ordered some prawns and grilled vegetables. The waiter recommended Ravioli and fish soup which is their so-called signature dish. Prawns were good but not as good as we get from Genoa or Rovinj. Ravioli and fish... More

Good day traveler! First, beiing Christmas time we wish you and your dear ones all the best! To say this review suprised us would be an under-statement. It almost seems to be a well constructed attack than an bad-day-at-the-kitchen. You insulted all dishes you had and that makes it most suspicous. We cook seasonaly so what you had to choose... More

Again, we asked locals for their recommendation for food and again, we were NOT disappointed. We loved the low ceilings, cozy atmosphere and homemade Dalmatian food that we enjoyed here. It's a little off the beaten path, but worth the effort to find. You'll enjoy a great meal!
