Description: Our small family restaurant is run by Father & Chef, preparing dishes that are passed on by his mother and grandmother. Our family lives in this neigborhood for more than 300 years. Blessed by the heavenly Adriatic, seafood is mainly our thing. As we depend on the weather working with fish, daily menu is flexible. Vegetables are bought on the bazaar behind the palace & the fish-market is 100m away. Even our wine & olive oil is made by local family producers. Enjoy traditional Dalmatian dishes in friendly atmosphere.. Welcome foodies!

they have not much to offer on the night we visited. Only sea bass and tuna, no small fish which is more tasteful. We ordered some prawns and grilled vegetables. The waiter recommended Ravioli and fish soup which is their so-called signature dish. Prawns were good but not as good as we get from Genoa or Rovinj. Ravioli and fish... More

Good day traveler! First, beiing Christmas time we wish you and your dear ones all the best! To say this review suprised us would be an under-statement. It almost seems to be a well constructed attack than an bad-day-at-the-kitchen. You insulted all dishes you had and that makes it most suspicous. We cook seasonaly so what you had to choose... More

Again, we asked locals for their recommendation for food and again, we were NOT disappointed. We loved the low ceilings, cozy atmosphere and homemade Dalmatian food that we enjoyed here. It's a little off the beaten path, but worth the effort to find. You'll enjoy a great meal!

Was referred to this restaurant by a local. Went for lunch and was very pleased with the food. The fish was fresh and well presented. Very small place with about only 5 or 6 tables. Good services and great fish. A must place to go if in split.

Our hotel recommended the restaurant and a very good choice. Large fish platter with a variety of fresh grilled fish, excellent mixed veggies, good wine Only about five tables, perfect atmosphere with nautical warm feeling.

Great local seafood, simple flavours that let the produce speak for itself. My girlfriend is vegetarian, although nothing on the menu, they were only too happy to whip up an amazing risotto. Great place to have dinner, especially when there are some colourful locals enjoying too many glasses of wine :)

This got to be one of my favorite restaurants during our trip to Croatia. It is a small unassuming restaurant located in an alley near the old town of Split. It only has a few tables inside and outside on the alleyway. The service is very friendly and you feel welcome immediately on arrival. The food is simple but relies... More

Very friendly waiter, also very entertaining. Fish was excellent. Grilled vegetables were the best I have ever had. Make sure you have the apple pie. It was amazing. Quite a small place which adds to its charm.

I stayed 4 days in Split this May and I ate at this restaurant 3 times, two lunches and a dinner. It was a very small place with just a few tables. Without a question, fish was the best and also the only 5-star item on their menu! I had fish soup, hake and flounder and grilled mixed veggies. The... More
