good food

the food is excellent, but make sure you dress warmly on cold evenings. there are some indoor tables but they are uncomfortably close to the bathroom. We had the pasta and it was yummy

You know a place is good when you walk in and realize the locals are camped out enjoying themselves. Everyone is friendly, the food is good Italian style cuisine. The antipasto is well worth it. The kids could have pizza, one of the best in town while the parents enjoy a fancier dish.

In Antigua, this is the best place that I have tried for authentic Italian food. We had a couple salads, a couple different pizzas, and were very satisfied with the quality of the food. Another thing I appreciate about this restaurant is that they have a good amount of waiters and staff, so the service is good, and you have... More

I have enjoyed dozens of meals at this great Italian restaurant and it just keeps getting better. My last meal was fresh pasta with mussels, white wine, and of course garlic. It was amazing. In the past I have had great pizza. The wine selection is very good and fairly reasonable. I will continue eating here each time I travel... More

We arrived here thirsty and starving. We ordered an appetizer--some grilled vegetables and toasted bread and pizza. It was very large portions and delicious. We couldn't eat it all and brought the extras back to the hotel staff (they were thrilled). We drank plenty of wine and rum and really enjoyed interacting with the staff despite our minimal Spanish. Good... More

This restaurant had been recommended to me so I hope the kitchen just had a 'bad day.' I ordered the rack of lamb - VERY disappointing. For 180 Q (or 170, I forget exact amount) I got 2 very small lamb blades (not even chops), super-coated with a cheese breading, and most of the meat was super fatty - and... More

I ordered the arugula prosciutto pizza and the quattro formaggi pizza here and they were delicious thin crust pizzas but I won't say it's the best.

We went here on a suggestion from Cacao Hotel and is was everything they said it was and more. Easily the best pizza pie in Antigua perhaps Guatemala. I suggest also ordering a pitcher of sangria!
