Come here at night, and enjoy the bar atmosphere. The food is just average, and somewhat expensive. Drop in for a drink, enjoy the view from the balcony, but skip the food.

El Chaman has a nice but small terrace. the menu is limited but the pizza is good. In general its a bar not a restaurant and as far as bars go its pretty much the same as the rest. But, hey go for a beer as you move around town.

Sure the terrace has a great view of a beautiful ruin but other than that its hard to differntiate El Chaman from any other bar in town. The inside decor is bland. The menú is limited and food is average. I would go back for the terrace view but thats about all.

El Chaman is a nice bar with a small terrace that overlooks a ruin. At nite its very pretty. The food menu is very limited so try their pizza. They have a typical menu for liquor and beers. Its worth a visit if you are in Antigua

Yes, there is a great view of the ruins just behind El Chaman. Butother than that its just another average bar in Antigua. There are dozens and dozens of bars to choose from in Antigua. Many others offer a better choice of menus and all have some sort of Happy Hour or Ladies Night. So, enjoy El Chaman as you... More

Loved the place. Went for drinks after an amazing celebration to welcome the new calendar and say thanks for all of our gifts in life. Wonderful friends took us there and we really enjoyed it. Great tunes and service.

I have eaten here twice in my two week stay. Their pizzas are good and the people are welcoming. The terrace has a great view of an old ruin with many birds, flowers and trees. It is supreme relaxation. Their good beer and cheap shots of local liquor helped. As with many places in Antigua, the owner stopped at my... More

I've been to this bar a few times and the atmosphere is very comfortable and chill. They make excellent drinks, have incredible art work on all their walls, rent bikes downstairs, have beautiful views of some ruins and Antigua's surrounding volcanoes, and the staff is very friendly. I did not get a chance to try much of their food, but... More

Iv'e been traveling in Guatemala and especially Antigua for a few months and have found this magical gem by chance, soon as I entered the fumes of pizza led the way upstairs to the most beautiful sunset Iv'e ever seen, the tree lines in their silhouettes on Fuego volcano and the sun setting majestically behind... And then came the pizza!... More
