Found this place two years ago and every time I visit Antigua I have to stop here. Good food but great view of the mountains while you eat. Daily specials are always winners but pannini's are a safe bet if nothing appeals to you

The cuisine is French and the food is good. It was dark so we couldn't see the view well but I am sure it is amazing in daylight. I had the steak de Paris and it was tasty. The chocolate mousse was ok. Service was slow but so has service been in the other restaurants we've been to in Guatemala... More

You can see the adjacent ruins from their terrace in the daylight. We had lunch there and the crepes were quite good. They also had a nice sauvignon blanc by the half bottle (Oveja Negra) that was nice.

When it comes to Tartines, I'm a creature of habit. I order the same salad, same entree and same dessert every time. The first six or seven visits over a four year period always resulted in the same experience - excellence. However, last April, I returned and was disappointed with my main course. The arugula salad with pears, gorgonzola and... More

The food is very good, not over the top french plates. During season, ask for "anacates" local wild mushrooms (july - novemberish)

We expected more from the because of the recommendations here in Trip Advisor. Everything was good. Service was good. The restaurant was nice overall. The sandwich was normal...something you can get pretty much anywhere. The french onion soup was superb but not served hot.

The view from the terrace is spectacular. The service wa slow and unattentive. The food was good but not great. The salad and dessert ws the highlite of the dinner. The main courses were good but not geat. The teak was overdone and the fish tasted packaged versus fresh. Overall, an OK dining experience that lacked value for the price.

Wished we could have got back there for dinner. We had a lovely lunch, Salad for my husband, croque monsieur and a shared plate of chips. Half a bottle of white wine. Fab, all well cooked, tasty, reasonable prices. Lovely roof top patio overlooking the ruins of La Iglesia and great attentive staff.....don't miss it!

Without curbside appeal, this really has the BEST patio in Antigua, overlooking la Iglesia. Try the salad nicoise for lunch with a lovely sauvignon blanc or the steak for dinner. The chocolate mousse will make you fall in live with this chef. There are other restaurants recommended on Trip advisor, but this is by far the one you will remember... More

I have eaten here on both trips to Antigua. The view is unique in that you see directly into the "ruins" of a church that faces onto the Parque Cental. Last night I had the steak bernaise, it was a giant tenderloin cooked perfectly. In the US you would have paid at least twice as much for a similar meal.
