This is one of my perennial top 10 in Antigua; the food is always excellent; and the owner/chef is a neighbor in Antigua.

Service is excellent as they're not stressed nor too slow. We had chicken with fries and sauce of the day. Chicken was slighly undercooked in one place. However overall it was grear, and the view from the terrace is just wonderful!

I've been here twice and if you are looking for a place to splurge then this is it. The menu isn't huge, but there's enough to choose from and a few vegetarian options too. The dessert is also fantastic. The outdoor terrace is nice, but it can get chilly in the evening so bring a sweater and scarf.

This came recommended by an American friend who is very familiar with Guatemala. It was everything he promised...great food & great view. I had the chicken florentine which was a very big chicken breast cooked to perfection. I don't specifically remember the prices, but it was worth every penny spent. Make sure you sit outside on the terrace. Shame on... More

Found this place two years ago and every time I visit Antigua I have to stop here. Good food but great view of the mountains while you eat. Daily specials are always winners but pannini's are a safe bet if nothing appeals to you

The cuisine is French and the food is good. It was dark so we couldn't see the view well but I am sure it is amazing in daylight. I had the steak de Paris and it was tasty. The chocolate mousse was ok. Service was slow but so has service been in the other restaurants we've been to in Guatemala... More

You can see the adjacent ruins from their terrace in the daylight. We had lunch there and the crepes were quite good. They also had a nice sauvignon blanc by the half bottle (Oveja Negra) that was nice.

When it comes to Tartines, I'm a creature of habit. I order the same salad, same entree and same dessert every time. The first six or seven visits over a four year period always resulted in the same experience - excellence. However, last April, I returned and was disappointed with my main course. The arugula salad with pears, gorgonzola and... More

The food is very good, not over the top french plates. During season, ask for "anacates" local wild mushrooms (july - novemberish)

We expected more from the because of the recommendations here in Trip Advisor. Everything was good. Service was good. The restaurant was nice overall. The sandwich was normal...something you can get pretty much anywhere. The french onion soup was superb but not served hot.
