Amazing meal

This was one of the best meals I have had in Guatemala and the U.S. The food was all made fresh, including the salads and calamari. The daily specials are a great change from the normal fare, but the steak was very tender and with great sides as well. Also the chocolate mousse and tiramisu had... read more

I love this restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious and the chef knows how to properly cook meat so that it's mouth-watering tender (a rare talent in Antigua where meat is usually so tough that's it's unchewable). I especially love this restaurant on warm/hot days because it has one of the few terraces in Antigua where you can overlook the... More

We went for my birthday dinner and sat upstairs on the rooftop with stunning views of the ruins of a cathedral below us. Food was awesome. I had the arugula salad with poached pears, walnuts and blue cheese and the vegetable lasagna. Both were delightful. Don't miss the crepes for dessert. Oo la la!! Waiter was very helpful and owner... This quaint gourmet establishment is far above anything you will find elsewhere in Antigua. Not only is everything cooked to perfection, but the flavors elevate dishes to a gourmet status. The gnocci and calamari are a true treat. Enjoy eating on the upper terrace, where you overlook the city roofs and church ruins. A definite must try!

This is such a charming place. We ate on the upstairs terrace overlooking the ruins of the cathedral. The steak was about 3 inches thick, and perfectly cooked. The food was unexpectedly fabulous, and cost about $20 per meal. I can't wait to go back in May. The chocolate mouse was denser than any I had eaten elsewhere. It was... More

We had a great bottle of wine, duck and mariscos con vino blanco here. The bill was astonishingly low and the atmosphere was lovely. I recommend for anyone looking for a celebratory dinner while visiting Antigua. Views are great as well.

Antigua is packed with restaurants and bars, it´s part of the town´s charm. However, most of the places are fully dedicated to touristy dishes, aimed at the traveler who wants to eat or have dinner quickly and continue exploring Antigua, or to backpackers looking for a pizza slice or crepe. If you are not one of those, then you have... More

Heard good comments about this place, finally went there. Wonderful little terrace to contemplate the volcanoes and impressive back of the Cathedral views. The food is casual french, good in every way. We had an afternoon snack, will be back for dinner sometime...

Such a beautiful spot - and the food can't be beat. The Filet Bernaise is better than the best and the lovely atmosphere! Don't miss it when in Antigua!
