The place is beautiful, food was great, had some live music at the restaurant but you have to pay extra to sit in that área. Its worth a visit but its a bit pricy. They also have a hotel which looked really nice and some yoga classes.

I have eaten at this restaurant every time I go to Antigua. The food is wonderful and the setting is amazing. All over Antigua they light candles at night in hotels and restaurants.

This is perhaps the best known of the higher end restaurants in Antigua, and it is located within the hotel of the same name. You need to take a taxi from the center of town, but once you arrive, they have a lovely courtyard and several nice rooms. Additionally, you should walk upstairs and check out the view from the... We happened upon this place after a recommendation. The place is remarkable, one of the nicest settings ever around a pool and patio's all lit by candle. The staff were all very nice and the food very good.

Every time I eat at Panza Verde I leave feeling completely satisfied. The ambiance, the company, the setting, the service, the wine, the FOOD are all exceptional. I was just there while on a visit last week and was able to squeeze in without a reservation (I would recommend one on the weekends). Even with the last tables in the... More

Outstanding restaurant. Wonderful food. Outstanding atmosphere. Superb service. We sat in courtyard. Apparently you can sometimes get a table on the ceiling with spectacular views. The tables around the indoor pool/fountain has a 50Q surcharge. That is a very romatic setting. This is the first restaurant in Antigua that we went to that charged US prices. Drinks in the bar... I have been going here since around 1986. The food and service is first rate. I have never had anything mediocre here, whatever you get will be wonderful. Anything on the menu will be well prepared. Lots of classic dishes. A good wine list. A fabulous location. Nice service. Quiet and drama free. Very lowkey, come as you are-jeans,shorts,sandals,sport coats,... More

Great architecture. Candlelit dinners really give you a feel for the colonial city Excellent food. They also have several rooms to stay and they are very nice. Lots of roof top sitting areas.

My wife was floored from the moment we walked in. This is hands down one of the most romantic dining experiences of our lives. The "Cueva" or grotto is a must. They charge a little more, but this experience is not for budget gourmets, so if you go, do it. We had romantic classical Spanish guitar music expertly played at... More

What delicious food in a romantic setting. It's a place I love to return to when I'm in Antigua. Be sure to have the shrimp and avocado salad.
