I love this little cafe which is right on the parque central. It serves really good salads and sandwiches and a very peaceful vibe. The quiches are delicious. The courtyard seating is so calm and peaceful. Service was friendly and professional. Each time I am in Antigua, I always enjoy a meal here.

My sister and visited Cafe Condesa on our first day in Antigua, and we weren't dissapointed. We both had appetizers, and then she had a sandwich while I had soup. The servings were huge, and everything was super delicious. Our waitress didn't speak English very well, but we weren't phased - she was very helpful and let us practice our... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review! I´m so glad you and your sister had such a nice visit in the Cafe. I´m sorry your trip to the Express was not. I can't imagine how in the world your sandwich could have had mold on it. We fill the case early morning, again at lunch... More

I was there multiple times in February 2014. Location makes it a good place to meet up with others, do a currency transaction at one of the banks on the square, and enjoy a stroll and/or sit-down in the park facing the cafe'. The food is adequate to good, depending on what you get. Everything I had was acceptable to... More

Thank you so much for your review and recommending us to fellow travelers..... I'm glad you enjoyed your food and were generous with your stars. Of course I´ll check in with the staff about the salad being prepared with bare hands. (They are supposed to use a fork to toss the salads.) We do have a handwashing sink and there... More

This is a great place for breakfast, lunch, or coffee/tea time. They cater to tourists, so you can freely eat their fresh produce without fear. We have tried their berry pancakes, plain pancakes, several salads, their soups & their Quiche Lorraine. All were very yummy. The coffees & hot teas are great too! When you're in another country, it can... More

Thank you so much, Lisa, for pointing out our homeyness! That was our goal from the very start... to create a haven, off the Central Park, for locals, national and international tourists alike. We try to have something to offer everyone! We also appreciate your pointing out that we use only the best ingredients, fresh, local, organic when possible, and... More

I had the black bean soup and the sandwich with cheese and guacamole, can't remember the name. Both were good. Their cakes are good as well. It was simple and easy and good. Ate there a couple of times. They have high chairs and a baby changing station in the left women's stall in the restroom.

Thank you recommending us Lady Susan! The black bean soup was a "Soup of the Day" but we have another 4 soups on the menu to enjoy as well. We´re so glad you made multiple visits! We look forward to serving you again on your next visit! More

Cafe Condesa was an easy choice for our first meal in Antigua, since I knew it would be reliable and familiar. The menu is huge, so I haven't tried everything, but all the egg-based breakfasts, salads, and gluten free (!!!) cornmeal pancakes were excellent. We found the service to be quick and friendly, though sometimes we felt a little uncertain... More

Thank you so much, Lynn, for such a solid recommendation. We have always aimed to be a "home away from home" for tourists and locals alike. We don´t have a hostess every day of the week so I´m glad you seated yourself! Next time I hope you´ll try the brunch! It's been an Antiguan institution since 1993! Hope to see... More

Thanks so much, Barry, for letting folks know about our fabulous coffee! The quiches are my favorite, too! It's all the local cream that set them apart. Please come back to visit next time you're in town... Warm regards, More

The food is always good - and the desserts are fantastic. This is a great place to bring those out-of-town people who are looking for "atmosphere"
