This restaurant is indeed a little pricey, but worth every cent! The service is very good, the ambiance Is like France during the time of Toulouse-Lautrec, and the food is prepared to perfection. We had a great evening at Bistro Cinq. Marlon, our waiter, was friendly and his timing perfect. We had the Mahi-mahi and the Fish du Jour (grouper in almond crust). Very tasty and full of flavours. Combined very well with the alberino we drank with it. Best food in a month travelling Central America. Highly recommended!

This restaurant was recommended and came with statements like "excellent service" and "food was delicious". That was NOT my experience. Being in the middle of the week and during the off season for tourists, the restaurant was not busy. Myself and two travel partners waited almost 5 minutes before we were greeted and seated. After another 7 minute wait our... More

I reviewed this restaurant a couple years ago and said we spent a great afternoon there. Went back yesterday and had 6 different appetizers and a glass of Sauvignon blanc. the staff is real friendly and the ambiance is warm. Had another great couple of hours.

This is a really cute little French restaurant, with great ambience, good service and wonderful food- particularly their french fries (thin, crispy and well salted), their burgers (cooked to order- medium rare is actually red inside), and their steak frite (also cooked to order and perfectly seasoned, just get the bernaise separately- we were not impressed). We have also tried... More

This continues to be one of my favorite restaurants. The food continues to be one of the best. However, last time we were there we had horrible service. What a bummer. The waiter spent more time chatting with his mates than serving us. He forgot our orders and just seemed like he didn't care. I hope Bistrot can improve the... More

Generally I am no fan of trying European restaurants when in distant Central American lands; I'd much rather taste my way through the local options. Yet Bistro Cinq was a surprising but welcome find in Antigua. We wandered past it after eating dinner elsewhere, so we took away a sandwich and macarons for the next day. The food was tasty... More

One of the "gitschiest" restaurants in the town of Antigua. Real candles above the bar were exquisite. Food was fantastic......scotch selection also surprisingly varied.

We learned about this resto through tripadvisor and it didn't disappoint. Quality french food and affordable prices. The atmosphere is romantic. We had the sea bass which was divine in flavour, beet salad and cauliflower au gratin - we saw the chef cook everything to order. The food we selected are great options for a lighter meal. Service was also... More

What a gem this is. I have no idea where the chef trained but we had an excellent lunch here. The menu is French bistrot in the main, the wine list looks good and the ambience is very nice. I was surprised at how easy it was to get a table.
