Brunch was unspectacular but STILL well worth the $$

Great views 20 floors up(or whatever). Food was great. Omelette station was great. Service was great. Was hoping for a bit more, but the volume of people was not there to support anything more spectacular. Was not wowed, but enjoyed the atmosphere and view.

Rack of lamb was good, but we've had better. Mahi mahi was "just ok, too much filler, not enough mahi mahi". Filet was tender but no flavor. Deserts, which were a cherry something and a blueberry something were the "skimpiest deserts ever". The view is great, our server was terrific but the cost is just crazy.

We went with two couples, everyone's meals were excellent but really the view cannot be beat. I'd definitely recommend for dinner, but even just stopping in for a cocktail and a view is well worth the trip.

The chef here really knows his stuff. From the amuse bouche to the delicately flavored and perfectly portioned dessert, this dinner was amazing. First there is the "room with a view" and what a view! The rolling green golf course and the waters of Grand Traverse Bay wrap around the room and it is spectacular. The decor is soft and... More

Good menu selection, food quality, presentation and service made for a good experience. The views create a superior ambiance. Wine list was pretty good as well.

The restaurant is located on the 16th floor of the hotel and you get an amazing view of the area from all sides. We traveled here with two families (4 adults and 5 kids). When we looked at this as an option, it looked a bit “fancy” for us and the kids, but we went anyways. With the exception of... More

Had a great dinner in Aerie. Restaurant is located on the 16th floor of the hotel and you get a great view of the area from all sides. Ordered just a bunch of appetizers and everything was great. Wait staff was very attentive as well. Pricey but food, service, and view were worth it!

On the 16th floor of the tower at the Grand Traverse Resort. An incredible outlook over Lake Michigan. And the food matches the view. I started with the oyster chowder. Very tasty, but hard to choose over the white gazpacho. My wife loved her grilled Caesar salad with white anchovies. We split the potato crusted snapper, crisp and tasty, accompanied... More

Incredible views from the top of the tower restaurant. Food and service were excellent. Portions on the small side for the price with no sides.

Something has happened here recently. At 11:30 on a Sunday, there were six tables for Sunday brunch. Part of the problem was the lack of cohesiveness of the brunch itself. It was particularly weird yesterday. There used to be a marvelous smoked salmon and other seafood table. That's been replaced by a salad bar of the same caliber as, "Ruby... More
