We went to a late dinner on Saturday night to Aerie. We arrived about a half an hour early so we sat in the lounge, they had a very talented performer singing and had some wine while we waited. Our waitress in the lounge was attentive and pleasant, she told the hostess we had reservations and they'd come get us... More

Our experience at this restaurant was exceptional. It was our first time dining here and the views, the food and the service was outstanding. Our server, Cheyenne, was so friendly and knowledgeable, her recommendations for dinner and dessert were perfect!! We enjoyed our experience so much, we returned for their Sunday Brunch which was just as superb as the dinner.... More

If you don't mind spending a fair amount for dinner, this is a nice place simply for the view. It is a west view so the sun can actually be annoying until it goes below the horizon because the whole floor has huge windows. The food can be really good or just OK. Never bad. Look at the online menu... More

The food! The View! The Service! Everything here is top-notch, first rate and exceptional! What a diamond in the rough and a pleasant surprise. I would not only go again and again, but would insist that anybody else who visits at least go to this restaurant. Go on...treat yourself, it would be a guilty pleasure well worth it!

Aerie is hard-pressed to produce food as consistently good as the view from their 16th floor restaurant, but they deliver. In the low season the facility opens just around sunset, so prepare to be blinded until the sun starts getting below the horizon, at which time they bring the house lights up a bit so you can see again. Interesting,... More

My husband and I don't like to go to big resorts, and so we weren't sure about the restaurant there, and hoped it was your standard cookie cutter resort restaurant. Aerie is a carnival of the senses. The view takes your breath away and the service is fantastic. We had such a great array of food, starting with martini's, watermelon/tomato... More

Management is not good... Food is excellent! The Sea bass is probably the best dish I have had there. There Apple Tart has bacon caramel in it and it is to die for!

Lovely view of Grand Traverse Bay from this restaurant at the top of the Grand Traverse Resort. Drink service was a bit slow. Food is very good, but $45 for sea bass?! $40 for the grouper special? I find it hard to believe that the grouper would even be fresh...maybe, but unlikely. Even if, that's pretty pricey in my book.... More
