Actually quite Grand

This was a business trip and I was happy to stay here. Beautiful surroundings and comfortable digs. My accessible room was superior.

We will go there a couple times a year to escape. Whether its summer or winter or anytime in between you can't beat the view from the tower, time in the pools, or just relaxing in the room.

The pool area is amazing. The rooms are very nice. The grounds are beautiful. The décor is breath taking. I will stay there time and time again. You can't go wrong staying here. Business, couples romantic and family...they do it all.

Excellent stay. View from my room was breathtaking-awesome colors. Restaurant on top of tower was very good-ate in bar area on Sushi Wednesday. Cherry desert was very good end to a great meal-great views here as well. Sports bar had limited menu and was good but not great. Extremely comfortable bed-seemed to be newly decorated. Will be back again very... More

My husband and I switched to this hotel for just one night after staying at another place nearby. It's a nice hotel with sizable standard rooms. We stayed on a Sunday night and most of the shops were closed. We didn't experience much of the resort since we were just there for one night. I found this a little disappointing,... More

The only high end place in traverse city. Best all around in northern Michigan. Accommodations are great and the Shores complex is awesome!

The Resort is a large property that includes a golf course, large fitness center, huge pools, shops, tennis courts etc. It is also a bit rundown (at least in the older section where we stayed) and very much a convention facility. If you are there to visit Traverse City be advised that (depending on traffic) you are 10-20 minutes away.... More

"Had" to stay here bc the bride & groom had booked the block of rooms only here. At first we were not happy bc all that was left was a 2 bedroom golf view condo. However, with a much reduced price and a look-see, we changed our minds! Beautiful, with private balcony, 2 bedrooms (1 loft one), 2 baths ........ More

Okay resort, beautiful grounds, rooms need a bit of care, they are a little worn. Food for conference was good.
