Best in TC

The only high end place in traverse city. Best all around in northern Michigan. Accommodations are great and the Shores complex is awesome!

The Resort is a large property that includes a golf course, large fitness center, huge pools, shops, tennis courts etc. It is also a bit rundown (at least in the older section where we stayed) and very much a convention facility. If you are there to visit Traverse City be advised that (depending on traffic) you are 10-20 minutes away.... More

We love using the Resort in general. Fun shopping and beautiful atmosphere. Friendly staff, several choices for food and drink. Great pool area and fitness center.

"Had" to stay here bc the bride & groom had booked the block of rooms only here. At first we were not happy bc all that was left was a 2 bedroom golf view condo. However, with a much reduced price and a look-see, we changed our minds! Beautiful, with private balcony, 2 bedrooms (1 loft one), 2 baths ........ More

Okay resort, beautiful grounds, rooms need a bit of care, they are a little worn. Food for conference was good.

Yes, a bit pricey. We opted for the corner balcony room at $257+/night. We enjoyed the sunset views but the room was nothing special beyond that. Wouldn't stay/pay again for that room. Overall a very nice property and seemed very well maintained.

We had the resort pretty much to ourselves. We stayed in a three bedroom condo with long time friends from the military. The condo was really large and had very nice kitchen. The facilities were extra clean and the grounds we extremely well kept. The resort was the perfect location for a reunion and to celebrate 19 years of friendship.

This hotel is beautiful - on a golf course. We had family members staying there and ate with them at one of the Bistro restaurants in the hotel. Food was good and of medium $$. Service was good.

We recently celebrated a birthday at the Aerie Restaurant and Lounge in the Grand Traverse Resort. The food and service were excellent. Of course gazing out at the Traverse Bay from 14 floors up Was an added bonus. Spectacular view! We will definitely be returning.

I checked into the hotel on May 20, 2015 for a conference for the Governor's Task Force on Child Abuse and Neglect. Upon arrival I was told that my room had been cancelled. Then I was told it wasn't cancelled but that they would need to charge my credit card, even though the room was paid for through the conference.... More
