an easy choice on Nantucket for a quick beer and a chat with the locals - a good way to start or end an evening!
My friend and I seldom eat hamburgers, but our first hamburger was way to yummy so we made a second visit a couple days later for a repeat. I had their fantastic Blue Cheese Hamburger while sitting at a table with a view of Nantucket town and the shoppers. Can't beat the price, friendly and quick service, and atmosphere. Next... More
This pub offers a good pint and nice lunch. Brian was an excellent server. The menu without being huge offered a wide range of seafood, burgers, sandwiches at a very fair price for Nantucket.
Have visited the island for years. This restaurant was one of our favorites years ago, then it went downhill. Happy to say this last trip, the food had really improved. The lobster roll was one of the best! Will be back on our return trip.
Went for a quick meal and enjoyed the Bacon burger the waitress was really outgoing and funny. Also had a local microbrew from Cisco Brewery and can't go wrong with that.
We stopped here before returning to Hyannis on the ferry. We need to rest our feet and catch our breathe from all the walking in the historic village. The waiter was so nice. We told him we only want to have something to drink and wait for the ferry. He told us to take all the time we wanted, no... More
We stumbled in here to grab a quick snack late in the afternoon. Now that we are home, I have read some of the other reviews. Indeed, a common theme at this place....the awful service. We popped in late afternoon on Tuesday, Sept 24th so, manager/owner of this place, you should pay attention. She was probably the worst server/bartender we... More
If one needs a break from the very high-priced and somewhat ostentatious ambiance at the huge majority of Nantucket restaurants, this is the place to go. The food is pretty good, the service is surprisingly good for how busy it can get and the big screen TVs make for a nice diversion.
Our server was reasonably attentive; the decor was casual; my ham and brie sandwich on brioche was very good, as were the fries; reasonably priced and laid-back.
Had a quick lunch with my sister, my niece and her daughter here a few days ago. The waiter was really very good: attentive and pleasant. The chowder was excellent; clam fritters also...Good spot to stop for a bite to eat.
