Average at best

No one ever did seat us; we just found a table and sat. About 10-15 minutes later the waitress came around. Place was not crowded - lots of empty tables. My burger was good but heck, it's a burger, how much can go wrong with that?

Located in the downtown area near the Whaling Museum, this restaurant is very convenient to all attractions in Nantucket town. It is very expensive and although I would have rated the food at a four, I cannot rate the restaurant higher because of mediocre service. The management should find some help that is a little more interested in their work.

25 years ago, my wife and I and another couple had eaten in this restaurant and our experience was good. Time has not been good to this place. My wife and I stopped in for lunch week before last, while visiting Nantucket for the day. There were only two other tables occupied. There was quite a bit of time between... More

My husband had the best hamburger he has even had here. I had an appetizer of pear crostini that was DELICIOUS?

This downtown restaurant had a somewhat limited restaurant, but the food we ordered was well prepared. It's certainly a viable option if you're downtown, but it's not going to be the most memorable dining experience you have on Nantucket.

Decent meal at a decent price- which is amazing considering its perfect location! Never had a bad meal here and they never seem to rush you out. Great for large groups as they have large tables and it's a louder type atmosphere. Lots of tv screens with all the current sports games on. Live music in the evenings. Simply can't... More

This is somewhat downmarket establishment which I would think likely caters to a pretty raucous crowd at night. We dropped by for a quick lunch and were not expecting too much. What a pleasant surprise. The food was excellent and the service good. I had fish and chips that were well prepared with a good portion of flaky cod. They... More

The lobster roll was excellent, perhaps best lobster roll we've had, lightly dressed and nicely done. Fish and chips, well how can you mess up fish and chips and the chips were generously portioned and excellent. The blue fish pate was tasty and enough to share. The lobster salad was light and flavorful. Would eat there again.

Great Place to enjoy a few drinks and watch a game or meet friends. The Buffalo Wings are the best on island (its like a creamy buffalo sauce). I recommend the R&C far more than Nix's

Went here with a large group (7). The service was very poor. The waitress didn't seem familiar with the menu or the beer selections. The food was also just average. The oyster poor boy was probably the best thing we tasted. Good selection of interesting beers. Also the place did not feel very clean, especially the rest room.
