It is Mexican at it's finest. Not authentic Mexican per say, but amazing fish, shrimp, steak, chicken and fresh ingredients that find themselves in tacos and quesadillas like none you have ever had. The place is casual. It's near the beach and you can just hang there for hours. It has a local feel and terrific atmosphere.

Everybody says you "have to go to Millie's" when you are on Nantucket. This was our second visit there and we were treated by friends. It is a great spot for a casual meal. Mexican themed food is very good especially the fish tacos. Wash it down with a house Margarita. Fun place and always hopping.

Frequently, you trade off the food for the location, but that is not the case at Millie's at Madaket Beach. It is casual, but the food is not the usual. Food is Mexican influenced with fresh fish highlighted. Try the soft taco w scallops, avocado and blue cheese. You can wander off the beach during the day, but they are... More

Had been wanting to visit Nantucket for years and finally made the time for my GF's 50th birthday. Arrived on a scooter and had plenty of places to park. Outdoor seating was full so we went upstairs and were lucky enough to get a window seat. Enjoyed having lunch watching the surf in the distance. Yes, it's Nantucket and yes,... More

We stopped here for a “mexican-ish” lunch and although they do have tables upstairs the food was too casual and expensive for what it is ($11 for kids’ tacos? and that means 1 - I repeat - “one” soft taco with maybe 3 shrimp, or the $11 kids’ quesadilla (2 tortillas and 1 shrimp, cheese melted)? No crispy tacos and... More

I could not wait to go back to Millie's and have a mouth watering margarita but this was not to be. Two years ago, I had the best margarita I ever had but this time it was lemon-lime water - and the least amount of tequila possible before calling it a virgin. I and my mom told the waitress, who... We found out from our hotel that there was a shuttle from downtown out to Millie's in Mataket. We made the trip and it was excellent. Staff was great, food was exceptional (tacos, quesadillas, pub type stuff) and drinks were big and cold. The night we went was foul weather, and it kept the crowds down, but it was still... More

We stay in Madaket every August and love walking to Millie's. The food and the service are always spot on. Can't wait to get there this year!

It may seem like a long way (in relative terms) to go for a fish taco but they are so good at Millie's that the trip to Madaket is totally worth it. I particularly recommend the taco made with grilled scallops and bacon. Yes, it's that good. The service is not as good as the food but it's pleasant enough... More

This is the best meal I had on Nantucket ever. Delicious fresh fish and vegetables, not boring or samey. The striped bass tacos are amazing. Fast friendly service that never felt rushed even though the restaurant was packed. Awesome!
