Millie's is an excellent bar-restuarant near the beach at Madaket, the western edge of Nantucket. Many come to watch the sunset (including us), but we would come back for the good casual food. The lobster roll was just the right hing, along with local beer. The salads are inventive. There are Mexican-themed items. You can take the $2 public bus... More

Millie's is a bargain on Nantucket. Sunset and drinks are great. Free shuttle or bus from town to Millie's out in Madaket. Food is consistently good. Upscale casual. Great lobster rolls. Salads are great too. Most food for your buck - go for the quesadilla.

Many have tried, but at last someone has succeeded in bringing a worthy restaurant to Nantucket's west end. Indoors, outdoors; limited but very tasty menu; fast service and reasonable prices; fun bar area and attentive staff. Worthy of several visits.

Millie's is well-known for watching the sunset while you enjoy their fine margaritas and beer and seafood mexican dishes from the upstairs restaurant. It is a place often used by the locals but we were treated great as tourists.

We had a lunch at Millie's after a walk on the beach. The atmosphere, the waiters, the drinks, the found, ... everything were perfect. And what a so beautiful view on the ocean. Try their Millie's cocktail, it's so good !

We visited Millie's again over Labor Day weekend and I'm happy to say it still serves fresh Tex-Mex style seafood and fun drinks in a casual atmosphere at very reasonable prices. We came right from the beach with a group of seven friends and were seated and served promptly. We had two orders of guacamole and chips, drinks and seafood... More

Four of us went on a day trip to Nantucket. After departing the ferry, we got on our bikes and headed to Madaket Beach. Just as we arrived at the beach we passed Millies and decided since it was the only place near us, to stop and eat some lunch. Again, being the only place to eat, we weren't expecting much.... More

We hopped on the shuttle to here for supper. It was foggy so we couldn't see the view. It was charming nonetheless. It is rather noisy here and there was a good singer/guitar player jamming. They serve quesadillas, burritos and nachos. Sounds simple, eh. Try a lobster quesadilla! There was a whole lobster claw inside. Scallop quesadilla? Large whole scallops... More

Madaket has long awaited a restaurant at the end of the Madaket Road. We've waited a few seasons before commenting. The key here is to go just before Sunset. If you arrive before 7.30/ 8.00 the place is swarming with families- perfect if your kids are 10 and under, then by all means this is a great spot for you.... More

The restaurant is worth the trip. Service was great...ambiance was excellent....and the food was absolutely incredible. I had The Westender and was incredibly impressed. The rest of my party mixed it up...Pocomo, Eel Point, Tuckernuck and Rhode Island Avenue....and everyone walked away with the same impression I had. Prices (for Nantucket) are pretty reasonable. Mixed drinks are good...although I didn't... More
