Great place for seafood. Gotta have the lobster roll. Even at 18 bucks a shot it doesn't disappoint.

Well worth the ten minute walk from village center. The fish is really fresh, not greasy, and reasonably priced. It's really a take-out place, so if you are taking it back to your hotel, it's best to have a bike so you get back in good time. You can eat on their little porch, but the tables are dirty, and... Shopped at Sayles Seafood Sunday Set 28th. The people working behind the counter could care in the least if we were there or what we wanted. They barley listened to us. We ordered a piece of salmon "generous serving for two" The woman put a small piece on the scale and that was what we were getting no matter if... More

Sayles is actually a fish market with a few outside tables for on site dining. We ordered the Clambake for 3 to go and picked it up and enjoyed it in our rented condo which was only a few minutes away. The CLambake was absolutely perfect. The presentation of the clams, mussels, chowder, corn, potato and lobster was wonderful as... More

This is a great place to eat. For what you get, the prices are very reasonable and it's just a great place to eat fresh seafood. Highly recommended.

I don't know what else to say... My and my girlfriend went here just on a whim since we wanted to try something outside of the main town and didn't mind a little walking. We are very glad we took this trip. All I got was the fried cod sandwich, and she got the lobster salad roll, but they were... More

Find your clambake here! Perfectly cooked lobster, steamers, and mussels with corn on the cob. Mediocre chowder and red potatoes thrown in. We rode our bikes out to Sayles thinking we'd get some great seafood at a nondescript fish market. The short bike ride from downtown Nantucket takes you slightly off the beaten path to Sayles storefront. The pleasant surprise... More

This seafood is the best...and where the locals go....we ate dinner there three times and one lunch over a week long vacation! You can eat there, there's a few tables set outside-plastic forks and very low key, great for kids to be and the family can just be relaxed. Or, better yet, do the takeout. Which is what it's more... We chose to get take out at Sayle's based upon their ratings here on Trip Advisor. We ordered fried clam strips, fried calamari, clam chowder and chicken fingers. Unfortunately, the best thing was the chicken fingers. The calamari looked like onion rings- not freshly made. The chowder was ok, not the best. The clam strips were fair. It was pretty... More

It was mediocre. Ask for special offers. Pricing is sneaky. As we were gathering our lobsters, the couple ahead if us mentioned a 8.95 special for lobsters. When we returned to the counter the lady said, no you have to buy 3 lb lobsters !! We bought 3, 2lb lobsters for 13.95 lb and could have bought 3, 3lb lobsters... More
