Great seafood take out

Every summer, Its a family tradition of ours to order a big sea food dinner from Sayles for my whole crew. After calling the dinner in before 6 (to avoid the crowd, )we bring back the meals and eat them outside in the yard of our house. We all look forward to the wonderful chowder, delicious... read more

What I have learned this trip is Jamaica has moved to ACK for seasonal work. Servers are not trained for customer service across the board. This being said, it's the employers fault . Cheaper labor, make money, who cares. It's disrespectful . I have seen this in many places . The market has a good selection of seafood. 6 or... More

I wanted a BIG lobster. I went to the Stop & Shop. All they had was small ones. We walked a long way to Sayles. It was worth the walk. I left with a 3 1/2 pound lobster! The sales person helped me select the lobster an packed it with a large bag of ice. We cooked it later for... More

If you want good no frills seafood, Sayles is the place to go. Off the beaten path somewhat, but still close in town and to main street. Prices are very hard to beat for the quality of the food we had. Don't miss this gem!

If you're looking for fresh, great tasting seafood, this is the place to go. The scallops were cooked to perfection! It's a little bit of a walk from town but definitely worth it.

Perfectly prepared seafood served in a brown paper bag. The chowder was outstanding. My order of fish and chips was HUGE and I didn't order the largest size. It could easily feed two people. My boyfriend got the fried clams and both of us thought they were wonderful.

We walked to Sayle's from our Bed & Breakfast. We were hungry for seafood, but weren't looking for a fancy restaurant. Sayle's is a seafood market, but they have a menu that offers prepared take out or, you can eat on the front porch if it's warm enough (which is what we did). My husband ordered grilled salmon and I... More

Great place for seafood. Gotta have the lobster roll. Even at 18 bucks a shot it doesn't disappoint.

Well worth the ten minute walk from village center. The fish is really fresh, not greasy, and reasonably priced. It's really a take-out place, so if you are taking it back to your hotel, it's best to have a bike so you get back in good time. You can eat on their little porch, but the tables are dirty, and... Shopped at Sayles Seafood Sunday Set 28th. The people working behind the counter could care in the least if we were there or what we wanted. They barley listened to us. We ordered a piece of salmon "generous serving for two" The woman put a small piece on the scale and that was what we were getting no matter if... More
