The basement where the Brotherhood of Thieves has always been really seems to have gone down hill. It smelled like a dive bar, and the water smelled and tasted like onions. We ended up leaving after a few minutes. The upstairs however looks nice and lively, but we never made it up there on our short trip.

Went based off of a recommendation and was not disappointed at all! Tucked in the basement of a downtown Nantucket building, the service was great, the burgers were outstanding, and the atmosphere was perfect for a quick bite to eat. Price affordable compared to much of the island!

This is a interesting restaurant and the food is reasonably good. It tends to be crowded and noisy. Not my favorite place but it's good for a quick meal. One time sat next to a table with a young man trying to impress a date. He was describing accidentally defecating in the broom closet in China in a restaurant. He... More

In 3 days, we ate there twice. The burgers are great, chowder, delicious, and great seafood. The staff is very knowlegeable, and gave great recommendations.

The hamburgers were good. The room was so noisy there was no way a conversation could be held. Some people like that. I don't.

Liked the casual atmosphere but found the place a little dirty. The tables are sticky and the floor kinda dirty from beer etc. Looked like a good place for locals to come for a beer or two. Food is clearly average.

Very popular with locals and tourists alike. Excellent free pour cocktails and local craft beers. Typical pub food with friendly service. The fish and chips were great.

Typical long wait. Waitresses are okay but have attitude like you are privileged to get a table. First floor is much better than second. Food is Nantucket prices. My wife and I both got the fried dishes, which were good and more than enough to eat. However the cole slaw that is a side is very small, tarter sauce was... More

Part of this was a misunderstanding--the server recommended the scallops. I was looking at the broiled scallops in the dinner entree section of the menu, and I guess he was talking about the fried scallops in the "Fried Foods" section--I didn't realize there were scallops in another section. Usually a server would check to make sure which ones the customer... More
