Popular location

This restaurant was recommended by several local residents as having good food and reasonable prices. We had fish and bay scallops. It was good and very popular.

when you walk into brotherhood, you are thrown back in time. The food was better than expected. Had braised short ribs and a local Nantucket ale. Very good and reasonably priced.

The traditional Brotherhood was packed when we dropped by (downstairs) so for the first time ever we headed to the upstairs. Could the two spaces possibly be more different? No way! But we sat at the bar in a very pleasant but generic setting and enjoyed a nice though not particularly memorable drink.

Stopped in for a few beers while I was waiting for the afternoon ferry. The place has a nice atmosphere, (even though the were playing that wimpy coffee hose music). The people sitting next to me ordered burgers, and they seemed to enjoy them. Made me wish I ate here instead of Arnos.

I stopped here close to 20 years ago so I thought I'd give it another try which is extremely rare for me. I got the Smokehouse Rueben, which was overflowing and very good. Great atmosphere and location.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch back in April. Average burgers with a good beer selection. Place is in the basement, and just too dark. When were on the island, we'd like to at least see light.

A bit touristy but the food and service were good. I had the baked fish with breadcrumbs over and it was delicious! Everything our party ordered was good. A bit pricey for what it was, but then again it's Nantucket and everything is overpriced.

With such a progressive place as Nantucket, you would think finding vegan fare easier than it is. So it's definitely a pub-atmosphere inside but for my husband; when he needs a veggie burger and fries it becomes a mission. Great craft beers.

We stuck to the basics as suggested in earlier reviews and was very satisfied. Burgers and fish burritos were very good, as was cranberry cider. Nice atmosphere with historic feel. Good value for Nantucket.

Came to the island for a weekend and visited Brotherhood (10/23/15) for a bite to eat. We were seated by a waitress and then approached by the manager who told us (exact quote) "Get up. You cant sit there" If there was someone waiting longer for the table I can understand that being explained to us-politely. The manager could not... More
