Comfortable

Sat at bar for appetizers. Have been here many times before. Always a nice warm cozy place. Small so I wouldn't bring children here. Had short ribs. Very good. Everything cooked to perfection.

We enjoyed the food and ambiance at Queequegs. The chowder was excellent but some of the main dishes were only fair. Decent wine list w some reasonable options. The dessert was good, not great. The prices are overly high for the quality though this is typical in Nantucket. The service was ok - nothing special. The cramped layout made it... More

My friend should have sent his ribeye steak back because it was all gristle, but he is not prone to complain. I tasted the last bite and was appalled; that's when he admitted that the whole thing was like that. It would have been better for the kitchen simply to say they were out of steak rather than try to... More

Nice spot just 5 mins walk from Hyannis ferry...service attentive and food tasty, only downside was that, compared to other meals I the area, this one was on the high side; wouldn't stop us returning. No kids menu although did have sausage & egg style options.

We had a delicious meal here on a family vacation in Nantucket. We chose the restaurant because we had $100 in meal vouchers from our hotel (very nice Nantucket Inn). It was not ideal for kids (boys 14,12,10, 8) even with the $100 off. Menu was small and portions very small for the price. But everyone enjoyed the food and... More

I've been coming to the island since I was young. I went to Queequegs for the first time in 2011 and I haven't stopped going ever since. The steak and chicken under a brick are to die for. The atmosphere is great, especially when you sit out on the patio, the fairy lights and candles add to the wonderful atmosphere.... More

This is a tasty option when traveling with children. They have a good menu and a very good children's menu. The restaurant is a bit dark, which is unusual for a Nantucket restaurant. We had: Heirloom tomato salad - It came with a small piece of burrata. Very good, but not enough burrata. Skillet roasted mussels - This dish was... More

Great bartenders! Small but comfortable atmosphere. I enjoy sitting at the bar with friends chatting with the staff.

Nantucket has a number of excellent dining choices and Queegueg's is up there among the best. My wife and I enjoyed a summer outdoor dinner here recently. One word of caution, the menu that is available at TripAdvisor is no longer current. Some of the items remain on the current menu, but some (like the Prosciutto wrapped Pork Tenderloin) are... More
