The dining room is nice, the staff is friendly but if your really hungry it'll cost you a good $50 to fill up your tank.

We tried Fog Island for breakfast with friends. We had your basic eggs, bacon and coffee and they were very good. We will definitely try it again.

Even though it's pricey, I love going here. It's great alone or with a crowd. The food is fabulous, the staff is friendly and efficient. The owner has a great personality and makes waiting for a table an enjoyable experience. Why go anywhere else?

We tried for 3 days to get into Black Eyed Susan's however the wait times were unacceptable. Fog Island fit our personality better as we were not looking for a 5 course dining experience...however we prefer old fashioned eggs, bacon, hash browns, and good tea and coffee with great service...and that's what we got at Fog Island. It was great!... More

OK last year went here with my husband for breakfast and I thought it was great. However, this time went with my husband and son and thought it was awful. Felt dirty, had screaming kids next to us, crammed into a small table, a hair on my bagel and my son had to wait 5 minutes for syrup after pancakes... More

Located near the wharf in downtown Nantucket, Fog Island offers a relaxed setting for breakfast and lunch specialties. We were looking for a late lunch. I ordered the “Grilled Chicken Quesadilla” ($15), which is served with roasted corn, seasonal vegetables, and melted cheddar, served with black beans, salsa, sour cream and guacamole. When it arrived there were a couple of... More

Located near the Ferry Terminal and Main Street Nantucket, Fog Island Cafe is great for breakfast or lunch (closed for dinner). Breakfast is really great and there is often a line outside waiting for tables. Service is fast and friendly.

On a warm August afternoon, my wife, son, and I got a table at once from the cheerful host. Our waitress was there at once, and was always around - though never hovering. Our sandwiches were fresh and interesting, without trying too hard to be different. The touch of sprouts, for example, livened up a turkey sandwich, and black beans... More

I went here with my boyfriend and brother. The food was good and everyone was full. It was a little expensive but was to be expected given the island.
