Have been to this restaurant many times through the years. Has consistently served some of the best food on Nantucket. The restaurant is a dark, warm, candle lite room. Dinner is served with beautiful live harp music. The last several times dining at the restaurant the noise level has been extreme. Parties of 4 and greater have been shouting and... More

We ate here on Saturday evening, July 26th for the 8:45 seating. We started with the lump crab cake, which was absolutely to die for. The Beef Wellington entree just melted in your mouth. The flourless brownie with cherry gelato left us craving more. The romantic ambience of this restaurant is just perfect for couples. This was definitely our best... More

This classic Nantucket bistro is always a great experience. Few restaurants on Nantucket, Martha's or Block Islands can match much less exceed its service, ambience or food, none all three in my extensive experience. Hint: Place your reservations WELL in advance.

My family has been coming to Nantucket for 51 years. Somehow my parents found this amazing restaurant when it opened in the 1970's. Every summer since we enjoy an amazing dinner here. We also celebrated my parent's 50th anniversary here. The setting is intimate(love the harpist)and the food is consistently delicious and creative. Everyone who works there is very welcoming... This is the best restaurant for a special occasion. Lobster Mondays are amazing...and another night we ate there was equally amazing. The wait staff are so cordial. The food is so delicious. Each course is masterfully prepared and then plated so artistically. Yes, its expensive but its worth every penny. And its small but they have a way of making... More

For our first night in Nantucket, I figured we would be tired from the trip (true), so we made reservations at Company of the Cauldron where there is a different fixed menu each day. The menu was chosen with care to highlight fresh, seasonal items. Food and service was top notch. Recommended!

Company is always excellent. A time or two each season, we look over weekly menu selections and pick a date which we want to try what is offered. Wine selection is always good and wait staff knows the pairing well with what is for dinner. Highly recommend CoC at least once a season!

This place does a fixed menu. The week's menu is posted -- so I encourage you to go buy and pick a night where you see something you might like. We had an amazing 4-course dinner there. A harpist played through the meal. Try it, you will like it.

This landmark restaurant, now over 40 years in the same romantic and atmospheric space, is a favorite to return to again and again. The food is superb, the hospitality welcoming and warm, the atmosphere (only about 30 diners) quiet and congenial, the music (harp) lilting and lovely, the mood understated and romantic. This is one of those little gems that... More
