Perhaps it was end of season, or just a bad day but there were no smiles for this establishment. We were staying next door at the Elephant Inn Residences and decided to see what the view was all about at Brant. Plan on 20 minutes to receive your order, and when you do it will have mistakes. Bacon in the... More

Went there for breakfast. They had the best coffee ever. Went back for dinner. Loved the view and the food. Nice location to town, just a short walk.

Well, the dinner was delicious. We ate there for dinner and breakfast (stayed at the White Elephant). Staff was mediocre and not too personable. While the filet was delicious ($49) I find it ridiculous that a potato and vegetables cost and extra $16! If the view was not so good, I would not go there....Sea Grille has fabulous food for... This was our first stop after landing on the island...and the perfect backdrop to the start of a memorable vacation. Delicious burgers, salads and more. The views from the outdoor seating are spectacular.

Had a lovely lunch on the covered patio today. They have ceiling heaters turned on, which allowed us to eat outside despite the unseasonably brisk August day. While there is nothing necessarily creative on the menu, the food was well prepared and plentiful. Yes, it's crazy expensive, but so is everything on Nantucket. (We did think it was a little... More

This is an annual ritual for our family vacation in Nantucket. For some reason this year, it slipped a notch - a combination of food quality and not-as-friendly service. We will still keep coming back, in fact we will be there for dinner on our last night on the island this Saturday and hope that this was just a one... More

Incredible view. Good service. Food- meh. Papardelle w clams- $27. 4 clams, 2 split grape tomatoes, one leaf of basil. No garlic,no olive oil. It was in some kind of broth. Strange texture to pasta. Glass white wine $10. Food very disappointing. View to die for. Take your pick- food or view. You don't get both. Unless you take a... More

Dear Jadednewyorker56, I'm so sorry to read that we obviously didn't meet your expectations and it sounds like we didn't meet our own standards either.... Our Papardelle Pasta normally has lots and lots of flavor, with a white wine, garlic butter sauce, loaded with clams. I certainly do hope you'll give us another chance as I know that a great... More

The service was wonderful, the staff is friendly and sincere about making your dining experience a wonderful one. Make reservations for the Brunch. The selection was outstanding and the food was excellent. My favorite was the extensive seafood and raw bar, but others enjoyed the breakfast items, simply wonderful, and the carving station. Celebrate a special occasion and enjoy the... More

Nice restaurant, great view! Food was ok for the price. Would definitely eat on outside deck, which we did. Inside dining area was empty.

Dear Jim, Thank you for your recent review, we appreciate it. I might be a little bias but, I agree, the view over the ever-changing harbor is great, fantastic actually! Whenever possible we seat people outside on our terrace, overlooking the water... we have about 30 tables all overlooking the magnificent harbor..... We hope to welcome you back again soon.... More
