Not sure why Arno's keeps getting good reviews for breakfast

The decor is too "Soho" for Nantucket. At one time there was a line to get into Arno's for breakfast, especially when the ferry arrived. Now, most of its tables are empty and the decor is depressing. Out of loyalty, or perhaps wishful thinking, I have returned to Arno's twice over the last two... read more

We were here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The restaurant was busy-we opted to sit at the bar for our meal. The special was a Monte Cristo-we all had eggs and other things for breakfast. Service was on the slow side-but nothing is real fast in Nantucket.

We went in for a late breakfast on a day trip to Nantucket - the food was fantastic, though a little pricey. The pancakes were the best I have ever tasted and my husband and son enjoyed theirs too - filled us up for the day! Staff were friendly too.

I honestly don't know where to start with how horrible out experience was at Arno's. Bad enough to get me to write reviews on multiple sites to try to warn people away, that's for sure. We were seated and right away felt we were being treated differently, but couldn't place our fingers on it. When we placed our order, we... More

Stopped by Arno's for lunch during the week and was shocked by the presentation of a basic salad. I asked for a wedge salad. A plate was delivered with a hunk of lettuce in the middle, four strips of bacon, two slices of onion and four tomatoes slices ON THE SIDES. No chopped anything. It was like the chef did... More

We were a party of three who made a spontaneous decision to have lunch in town since we had been lucky to find a parking space on Main Street in front of the restaurant. We had a most attentive waiter. Two in our group opted to have om

This place is on Main Street in Nantucket and the food is terrific, I had the Crab Roll, basically a sub roll piled high with local crab, it comes with the usual french fries and a pickle, my wife had a cheese, ham and tomato panini, both dishes were great. I had a long chat with the Croatian waiter (sorry... More

I wanted to eat lunch here while on a day trip; ad in tourist info looked promising. However, after we finally found it and walked up to the door, there was a small sign posted that said it would not be open for full hours until June 19 -- two days later. Bummer. Wish the ad had mentioned that. Maybe... More

Family friendly yet elegant, this breakfast through lunch place met our every need. At this time of the year--not yet full tourist season--Arno's closes before dinner, and that was our only disappointment. -Great location on one of the main shopping avenues. -The interior was sophisticated and naturally lit with a large bar and at least six tables for four and... We ate dinner with our family at Arno's on Friday during the Christmas Stroll weekend. The food quality all around was poor. The filet mignon was not filet mignon and unedible - (I returned the entire plate) - the vegetables were drenched in some salty, brown sauce, the hamburger was a patty, some dinners were served cold and one meal...
