Arno's used to be a scene - people spolling out onto the street, lively restaurant, energetic staff and fun food. Now, just not. Food is OK but way expensive (which is really saying something for Nantucket), service is stilted and somehow chincy, and the overall vibe is just off. Plenty of better local options, sso I say skip it.

It was a bit pricey for lunch but isn't everything pricey in Nantucket. the food was good. I ordered the lobster roll and it was delicious.

We came to Arnos for breakfast and regret the decision. The service here was the worst on the island. Here are a few highlights- I ordered an omelet and it came out as a scramble and when asked, the waiter said it all was the same. When I asked why my potatoes weren't cooked correctly, he said he didn't know... More

Prices ridiculously high...$14.95 for one Belgium waffle on a plate...no presentation at all, not even any meat, whipped cream fruit slice or parsley came with it.....what a joke...for an extra $7.95, I could have had strawberries...lol, no thanks. My friend had the most tasteless eggs Benedict ever....$19.95...and coffee and tea at $4.50 each...grand total of $47.00....for a horrible breakfast while... More

A "filet mignon" sandwich for $25.00. A fish taco for $25.00. Both came with good frozen fries. The meat was full of grizzle and the fish in the taco was mushy and fishy tasting. The server spoke broken English and did not know the menu or deliver the order as placed by us.

On a Sunday night, we were the only table at the start of the season. The food was processed and nowhere near the standard that one would expect in Nantucket. Worst of all, we ordered the bruschetta (for $20!) and one of the olives that was on the plate had teeth marks in it - they recycle starters in a... More

This is one of our favorite brunch spots besides downy flake. Price is reasonable and staff is great with kids!

After an afternoon of shopping my two girlfriends and I like to stop and have a glass of wine and a small lunch. Its usually after the "lunch rush" and we like to sit at the bar. Arno's looked like it fit the bill. We sat at the bar. My friend and I shared the grilled cheese. Should've been called... More

Hard to miss this old stand-by just a couple of blocks from the Wharf on Main Street. Seemingly busy all the time given its location and popularity, today we were fortunate to get in for a delicious lunch of fried clams that were huge yet tender and juicy and lightly breaded and a bowl of very good clam chowder. Certainly... More
