Best breakfast on the island. I got an omelet and the cheese grits-amazing. My husband had the Portuguese scramble and loved it. Cute place, locals eat here and cash/check only...

Great Sunday brunch - had to wait about 15 minutes for a table but had a totally enjoyable meal. Good coffee, yummy French toast, perfectly crisp bacon, tasty "scramble" with linguica, but the high point was the grits. Absolutely buttery with a little texture left to them. And watching the incredibly efficient and orchestrated service was lots of fun. A... More

Sometimes, timing can be everything. Honestly, Black Eyed Susan's probably would be best visited in the off, or shoulder season. Unless you don't mind waiting a solid hour for your table for brunch on a Sunday afternoon. It's popular...very popular. That said, I found the food to be quite good. My Thai egg-scramble was delicious. My wife was not over-the-top... More

Nice breakfast joint. Good size portions, good quality and quick service. Pretty much the standard breakfast fare with some local twists. A pleasant and filling meal for around $28. Worth the visit.

For some reason this place gets a lot of recommendations on the island. We didn't have any sweet breakfast so if pancakes are your thing perhaps check it out. We had huevos rancheros and corned beef hash, both if which were below your average diner in NYC. Hash was more like potatoes with some corned beef flavoring. Much better breakfast... More

We ate here for dinner in 2013, which was good and a little cheaper than there places we have eaten, but again not amazing. Breakfast 2014 had amazing food (french toast, egg scrabbles, and amazing tex-mex hash browns). We ate outside at a shared table with possibly the rudest people we have ever encountered. This, however, was not the restaurants... More

Line outside took about 20 minutes. Place is small, food portions generous, and prepared well. The best breakfast we had on nantucket. A little pricey but what isn't on nantucket? Will make this a regular stop on future visits to the island.

Whenever you hit the entry area, the smells excite you. The place is like a neighborhood bistro--the food is simply delicious, and the entire staff is pleasant and welcoming. My wife and I love the byob aspect--we spend a little more on the wine than if we ordered it at the restaurant and the corkage is very low. The menu... More

It was a busy spot but we got up early and were able to secure a patio table for 8. The coffee was good and the breakfast menu was varied. The server however was rude.

Breakfast was good but not special. Prices were on high side, as expected on the Island. Very loud as it is small and cramped. Only complaint was that, coffee was never served hot, even after several cup refills
