On June 22, 2015, we walked to 50 Cliff Road on Nantucket, about a 20 minute walk out of town, for a sandwich at Something Natural. Trip Advisor reviews were good, so we decided to give it a try. The sandwiches were very good, and for Nantucket prices, reasonable. We sat outside on one of many picnic benches they have... More

Locals and visitors alike told me to stop in for what was one of the best sandwiches. Very fresh, made to order and on great bread. All served with a smile. A short walk from town and hidden from the road.

If you want to pack sandwiches for a day trip....there is only one place to go. Went here every day of our weekend to get different sandwiches for our day trips. Would totally recommend it, and I am picky about sandwiches.

Three local friends told us this place has the best sandwiches on Nantucket. We looked it up and walked from downtown (only 10 minutes or so). If you didn't know it was here, you would not find it. On CLiff Road, but down a driveway and no sign for the restaurant. The parking lot was crowded on a Monday lunch.... More

We had the lobster roll, roast beef, ham & cheese and curry chicken sandwiches. All were great and huge. Half was plenty, and sitting on the picnic tables with beautiful weather in a tranquil setting was fabulous. Definitely get a cookie if you still have room!!

My family has been on the island for years and comes here all the time. I've never had an amazing experience here. I've always found my sandwiches to be too dry or not have enough meat on them. The wait also takes forever no matter what time of the day you go, or the part of the season. Their also... More

This was a decent sandwich in a charming location. People rave about the Portuguese bread - but it's really just white bread... Overall, it mainly made the me think how profitable it would be to open a truly great sandwich shop on Nantucket...

When I have the chance, I always bike over to Something Natural to get lunch. My favorite is the chicken curry salad on pumpernickel bread with a Matt Fee Tea! If it's a nice day you can sit right out in the lawn. Enjoy!

However sandwiches are worth the wait. I suggest call ahead and have them ready to pick up. They make the sandwiches on a table maybe 6 x 8 in an assembly line. That's why it takes forever , maybe 4-5 people on the line. That being said great sandwiches 1/2 sandwich feeds one. Chips, cookies , pasta and potato salad... More
