We stopped in to make a reservation and waited while the hostesses tried to accommodate the non stop callers. They finally got us a reservation at the bar which they changed to a great table when we arrived. Servers were very good but hurried. Asian inspired dinners were very good, especially the stir fried lobster dish. Judging from the number... More

We heard the hype about The Pearl years ago and finally decided to try it out. To start off, we were seated by this surly hostess who couldn't wait to get back to chatting to the other three... definitely not what you expect from a Nantucket restaurant. As we were being seated I requested politely if we could be seated... More

This was truly an unbelievable place. Most people would probably walk by since it's not on the water but it's FAR better than anything on the island! Our server Alex was fantastic! He gave excellent recommendations and made this the best meal and dinning experience we have ever had on Nantucket! Unique dishes that are truly award winning. Can't wait... More

The "award winning" Passion Fruit Cosmopolitan is a just plain delicious way to start a meal at The Pearl. A friend and I had a wonderful dinner. We had and enjoyed the Blistered Shishito Peppers, the Sesame Miso Roasted Cauliflower, the Tuna Pizza, Vietnamese Lettuce Wraps and the Buddha's Delight. Everything was wonderful. The kitchen mislaid our order for a... More

Pearl remains our favorite but the Boarding House gives it some real competition. The decor is unique with a curves copper-like interior which is intimate. I had the tuna tartar and the octopus special whih were excellent while my wife had the corn soup (best soup she ever had) and the lobster risotto. The food was excellent. Portions were of... More

Wonderful server who helped us select just the right dishes and amount of food to share. Lovely ambiance to match. Will definitely return.

One of the surprising things about Nantucket is the number of excellent restaurants. The Pearl is at the top of the pack, Great food, great service, lovely ambiance. But it's not cheap!

This is probably the trendiest restaurant on Nantucket for dinner, probably Cru on the water for trendiest lunch. Good looking 40 somethings, loud music, fancy lighting, and good looking servers. While trend doesn't always equate to a meals quality.....we felt this restaurant delivered. I started with the tuna martini and followed with the wok lobster. The server said these were... More

I have eaten at the Pearl once every single summer since 2006. The food is fantastic. The wok fried lobster is one of the best dishes I have EVER had in my life. I am not kidding. It is always amazing. The service is ok. It has actually gone down hill in my opinion over the past few years. Staff... More
