Food was interesting, fresh and well prepared. Staff was very involved but also very good at not being intrusive. We had a great time

The food was good, interesting menu; however, the service was disappointing. Our server was not warm and when I found a hair in my beet salad, her response was that no one in the kitchen had long hair. An apology from management would have been more appropriate.

We celebrated by husband's birthday a couple weeks late but it such a delicious dinner at the Dune on our brief first visit to Nantucket. The swordfish was out of this world.

Wish the menu had had more items minus onions and garlic, as my husband really doesn't like them. Ambiance was quite pleasant. Presentation of food was lovely. A little high priced.

A satisfying meal. I admire chefs who create unusual blends that work. The scallops were to die for incredible. The swordfish very tasty. For dessert, try the fig bread pudding with maple bacon I e cream. Wow! A winning combination.

We ate two meals at Dune this summer and loved both of them. On the first occasion we were seated upstairs and the evening was near perfect. The food was uniformly delicious: a spectacular risotto, delicious duck confit, great fish. Service was warm and there is a good wine selection. We were so impressed we went back a second time... The culinary low of our recent trip to Nantucket -- the food at Dune was cold. Head to American Tasting or Pearl instead.

We sat outside for lunch on a beautiful September day. Service was friendly. My wife enjoyed her lobster roll. I had the yellow-fin tuna. Like most good restaurants with tuna on the menu, they insisted on serving it rare-- which I like. There are so many tourist traps on the island serving average food at high prices. Dune had much... Headed to the Island for a long weekend, did some sleuthing on Trip Advisor and decided on Dune for our Friday night restaurant. While the food itself was delicious (mostly) there were several things that were not right. First of all - walked in. There were two young ladies at the hostess stand - one clearly dressed for the evening... More

We heard of Dune from some friends who spend time in Nantucket every year, so we had it on our list of places to try. On the ferry ride over a local also recommended that we try Dune. We had 7:30 reservations, and were seated promptly. I suggest reservations though, for we were there on a Monday in September and... More
