A Great New Years Eve Dinner

Our host made the reservations. I was unprepared for the culinary experience. Small rooms Allow conversation to be enjoyable! The waiter was attentive but NOT hovering.

I had New Year's Eve dinner with my girlfriend here. Great menu (and great martinis)! We made a reservation and had zero wait. Staff was super friendly. Very happy with our choice.

We were greeted kindly and shown to our table upstairs. It was nice to see most tables filled during this quiet time of year on the island. We were offered what I think was the regular menu plus a $75 prix fixe menu for the evening. I ordered the Tokyo Miso Ramen and my husband ordered the seared tuna, both... More

Dune surprised me. I was expecting the same old boring Nantucket cuisine. Average but with a heavy price tag. However, Dune was very good. The service was excellent, and the food very good. My appetizer was duck confit over a chilled ramen. It was Really exceptional. My friend had the beef carpaccio, prepared just the way it should be with... More

I am very sorry to have to give such a poor review when Dune is actually a favorite of mine. Last Saturday night I made a reservation on Open Table - when I arrived there I was informed that I did not have a reservation. I then told her it was done on Open Table and she retorted in a... More

Went for anniversary dinner. The space is small but the service is phenomenal. Attentive but not overbearing. The food was amazing great preparation and presentation. Definitely worth it though a reservation is recommended as it was off season and was packed. They also have a small bar area. It is also quite popular with the locals.

Had dinner with our adult children this past Saturday night. Had not been to Dune before but was recommended on Yelp. Had talked to the restaurant three times to make and then ensure our reservation. Nothing was said about a special menu for the evening. You can imagine the surprise we had when we were given a prix fix meal... More

You can never go wrong at The Dune. Service and Food are tops on the Island. We went during Christmas stroll and only complaint was the high price fixed menu. This is not normally the case at this restaurant. The Salmon was the best I have ever had.
