Good Airport Restaurant

My family and I were recently stuck for several hours at the airport, so we had a few meals here. It's a good place to grab a bite to eat if you are waiting for a flight. It was a little "hit and miss" with the food, though. The vanilla french toast was good, but the blueberry pancakes were... read more

We'd heard Crosswinds was a place to go if we had time to wait at the airport in Nantucket, however, we had no idea it would wind up being the best restaurant of our vacation. The Irish Benedict, Lumberjack, and portobello sandwich were phenomenal, and the pricing was surprisingly low (you'll probably pay less than the price of smoothie in... More

We ate breakfast at Crosswinds before leaving Nantucket. I only wish that we had a car while on the island. If we had we had, we would have eaten at Crosswinds more. Good food and reasonable prices. Don't miss it, especially if you are a Wings fan!!!

What a pleasant surprise! We had lunch on the patio while watching the planes. The service was friendly and efficient. Everything came out quickly. The food was VERY good! The Greek salad was fresh with house-made dressing. The prime rib sandwich was cooked to perfection. The drinks were great and refilled often. Prices are very reasonable.

I travel all over and have spend way too much time in airports. I wish every airport had a place as good and consistant as Crosswinds. Great food and service, reasonable prices and wide variety of selections.

Like every other reviewer, I had no great expectations eating at a airport restaurant, but I was pleasantly surprised. Definitely the best airport food bar none I have ever had. We enjoyed great burgers, chicken sandwich and portobello sandwich. We had a choice of fries or side salad with our sandwiches too. Drinks were re-filled regularly. Pleasant service.

Who would think to have lunch at the airport on Nantucket? We did and were so happy with our decision. Their burgers are great. I had the pulled pork sandwich. It was very tasty. The place can get very busy at lunch. But it is fun to watch the planes landing and taking off through the large windows. There is... More

This is one of the best airport restaurants I have encountered. All of the food is good, and some is great. Unfortunately, the service is really bad. Drinks are not refilled, and often not delivered after being ordered. Condiments are not offered and you can pretty much forget about any kind of service between the plate hitting the table and... This place never disappoints. The food is delicious, the servers are polite, and the atmosphere is relaxed. Try it!

This is a very busy place, partly because it's connected to the busy airport terminal and partly because they just serve good, affordable meals here. We came for breakfast, craving coffee, which came fast and robust. While my wife ordered her favorite scrambled eggs with sausage, potatoes and toast, I took a chance on the Portuguese omelette, which paid off.... More
